Alhaji Osman Masawudu, the third national vice chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), did not have an easy time during a recent interview on The Last Point TV programme.

Osman Masawudu, while bragging about the achievements of the NPP government led by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, asserted that his party has done the most when it comes to railway development in the country.

He claimed that the previous NPP government built the most railway lines to many areas in the country, including Kumasi and Takoradi.

“In the history of Ghana, the NPP is number one party when it comes to making railways attractive… The trains go to Kumasi, they go to Takoradi,” he was saying, but the interviewer did not allow him to land.

The broadcaster accused the NPP 3rd national chairman of lying about train operations in Kumasi and Takoradi.

“You lie too much. Do trains go to Kumasi? Do trains go to Takoradi? You can’t come and sit in front of me to say this,” the interviewer fumed.

But Masawudu kept insisting that there are trains currently operating from Accra to Kumasi.
