LIVE UPDATES: Provisional results in NPP national elections as polls close

Polls have closed at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, where the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is holding its National Delegates Conference to elect new national executives as the party continues its reorganisation ahead of the 2028 general elections.

More than 7,000 delegates from across the country participated in the conference to elect the party’s national leadership for the next phase of its political organisation.

The elections will determine the composition of the NPP’s national leadership, with contests for key positions including National Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons, General Secretary, National Treasurer, National Organiser, National Women’s Organiser and National Youth Organiser.

The Electoral Commission (EC) is supervising the elections, while the NPP’s National Officers Elections Committee is overseeing the party’s internal electoral arrangements.

With voting now concluded, counting is underway at the various polling centres.
