Hajia Safia Iddrisu vows to mobilise more women for NDC in Ahafo Region

Hajia Safia Iddrisu, a candidate for the position of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Women’s Organizer in the Ahafo Region, has expressed confidence in her ability to mobilise more women and young people to support the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to Metro TV, Hajia Safia said her ambition was to strengthen women’s participation in the party and help expand its support base across the region.

She appealed to delegates to vote for her in the upcoming regional elections, citing her experience and ability to organise women and the youth as key reasons she should be given the mandate.

According to her, increased participation by women and young people would be important to the NDC’s efforts to secure victory in the 2028 general elections and win more parliamentary seats.

Hajia Safia maintained that she has the experience needed to mobilise grassroots support and encourage more women to become actively involved in the party’s activities.

She urged delegates to consider her track record and give her the opportunity to serve as the NDC Women’s Organizer in the Ahafo Region.

Hajia Safia Iddrisu is contesting the regional position on number 2 on the ballot.

The regional election is expected to determine who will lead the party’s women’s wing in the Ahafo Region and help coordinate women’s participation in its political activities ahead of the 2028 general elections.
