According to him, the NPP has an enviable track record not only in economic management and infrastructural development but in its social policies which are geared towards mitigating the plight of the people. He added, “The Free Maternal Healthcare, NHIS, School-Feeding Program, LEAP, Capitation Grants for basic schools and NYEP were all viable programs designed and implemented by the NPP regime which are now in a mess under the ruling NDC government”.
He mentioned that the NDC government must make infrastructural development a priority in its administration, and also urged government to rehabilitate the Yalewa Zongo roads and the Anlo-Fante-Newtown and Afful-Nkwanta drainage systems, all within the constituency.
He therefore encouraged the teeming supporters gathered to spread the good policy initiatives of Nana Akufo-Addo to provide Free SHS, strengthening of the NHIS and the creation of jobs.
The Subin MP finally entreated supporters to remain vigilant on Election Day to prevent rigging, and also turn-out in their numbers to vote massively for the NPP in ensuring a first-round victory for the party.
