The newly elected flagbearer of the United Front Party (UFP), Mr. Agyenim Boateng says his party if elected into power will make the largest opposition leader a speaker of parliament.
Mr. Agyenim Boateng says his Party believes in an all inclusive governance, hence his decision to keep Akuffo Addo in parliament.
Speaking on Agyenkwah Fm’s flagship program Mr. Agyenim Boateng said the UFP has better policies to move the nation forward and that policy is realistic and feasible.
‘The UFP have come to stay, and our policies will ‘wow’ Ghanaians. We haven’t come to promise one village, one dam; the UFP has feasible policies the nation needs going forward and we encourage Ghanaians to vote massively for us’
He noted that the country requires a leader with fresh blood and new ideas and policies to tap the natural and human resources of the country to propel it to an industrial nation status with its people benefitting from the prosperity.
Gyataba announced that the policies and programmes of the UFP would revolve around the agricultural and health sectors by giving prior attention to the provision of inputs that would turn the fortunes of the farmers to produce enough, while ensuring that there was adequate market to ensure that their produce did not go waste.
Nana Boateng said the health sector would be given greater attention and they would concentrate on preventive health because “the health of the nation is its wealth.” He explained that this would ensure that the nation had a healthy human resource to propel its industrialisation.
