The deputy Upper East regional minister Hon. Frank Fuseini Adongo has pledged his unflinching support to assist his boss the Hon. Minister, Mr. Rockson Bukari Ayine to alleviate the plight of residents of the region.

Mr. Fuseini Adongo who is also Member of Parliament for Zebilla, stated this in his maiden speech at the regional coordinating council Bolgatanga where he addressed journalist and well-wishers who had gathered there to welcome him as he arrived in the region to commence work as deputy regional minister.

He promised to work with all manner of people irrespective of their political affiliation, ethnic or religious background without discrimination and also he added that, he would pursue all inclusive policy administration with his boss to work with all the people of all backgrounds.

He called on the people in the region to unite for development adding that President Akufo-Addo is worried about the current indiscipline in the party and is putting in measures to curtail the situation.

Following information that the Deputy Regional Minister would be arriving in Tamale by road, a large convoy of NPP supporters on vehicles, motorcycles and on foot converged on the White Volta bridge near Pwalugu by 3pm to welcome him.

The deputy Minister and his entourage arrived around 6:00pm and were led by the procession through the principal streets of Bolgatanga, amidst the tooting of horns and chanting of party slogans through the hospital road to his residence.

Accompanying Mr. Adongo were the regional chairman of NPP, Chief Director at the Regional Coordinating Council, Regional Police Commander, leading members of the NPP in the Upper East, aspiring MMDCEs and Constituency executives of the party, Former Principal St Bosco college of education, Mr. Alfred Azuma Ndaago and heads of government departments.
