“The Acting Chairman of Bono Region of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC needs psychological help and I beseech his party to come to his immediate aid before things take down south with him” vociferous Alex Kwaku Asafo Adjei has said.
The Deputy Ashanti Regional Communication director in a media interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com remarked that clearly, the class of incompetence being displayed by Abronye DC’s government (NPP) at all levels in the governance of the country has provided him with little to brag about on radio and media interviews hence, his resolve to spew falsehood in order to stay relevant.
He said “the National Democratic Congress will not give him the luxury of audience as he is clearly on a demented spree poised to equate the H.E John Mahama’s top-drawer governance to that of the fumbling 73-year old man’s but clearly, Ghanaians are the better judge of this and he should do well to pay attention to the words on the street”.
Explaining his remarked, he indicated that, Abronye DC claimed, H.E John Dramani Mahama rented an apartment for the former Ghana AIDS Commission Ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah in order to shield her from arrest as published by Peacefmonline.com on 28 March, 2019 citing NET2 TV as its source.
“Granted his unwarranted accusation is true, is this where their incompetence has gotten to, to the extent that he can’t even trust state institutions of which his Old man heads to cause the arrest of a ‘criminal’ and it takes H.E John Mahama to overpower these institutions? What a shame!”
He further noted that in paragraph three of the publication, he claimed the former first Lady H.E Lordina Mahama in 2013 aided Joyce Dzidzor Mensah to be appointed as the Ghana AIDS Commission Ambassador whilst in 2014, an article published by Myjoyonline.com on 17 December quotes Ms. Dzidzor Mensah as “she has been lying for the past four years about her HIV status despite educating people on the disease and campaigning against HIV/AIDS stigmatisation” after she was hauled before the AIDS commission for lying about her HIV status.
He questioned the correlation between the two as it makes no sense for someone who is believed to have been helped by H.E Lordina Mahama to be appointed as AIDS commission ambassador in 2013, say in 2014 that she has been lying to the country for the past four years being the AIDS ambassador?

The NDC wish to state without equivocation that, the former first lady, Lordina Mahama, her Lordina Mahama foundation and her family has no association whatsoever with Ms. Joyce Dzidzor Mensah nor has it ever engaged her on any personal endeavours.
Also, we wish to clarify to dazed Abronye DC and his ineffective pay masters that, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah was appointed as the Ghana AIDS commission ambassador in 2010, a time Her. Excellency Lordina Mahama wasn’t a first lady.
The deliberate attempt by the flunked NPP to asperse the Mahama family will not wash as Ghanaians will continue to see through their lies and incompetence. The Lordina Mahama foundation continues to be a reputable foundation that doesn’t allow itself to lobby for controversial contracts for friends like the Startimes digital deal which the Rebecca Akufo-Addo foundation featured greatly.
A word of advice, the NPP should concentrate on at least, not plunging the country into another round of hardships and mess than it already is.”
