NPP Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC, has chided Former President John Mahama saying his integrity and competence cannot be trusted.

According to him, the NDC flagbearer only reminded Ghanaians that leaving the management of the economy in the hands of Mr. Mahama and his NDC once again will be a dangerous thing to do.

He stressed that, John Mahama was childish for saying that President Akufo-Addo is suppressing the freedom of the media.

“Mahama’s behaviour is very childish, he behaves like a ‘goro boy’, so Ghanaians should not tolerate him with his lies again,’’ Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC told Kwaku Dawuro on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7

“John Mahama was childish for saying that President Akufo-Addo is suppressing press freedom because the Communications Ministry has closed down radio stations for failing to pay tax, President Akufo-Addo always works with rules and regulations so if they think the government is wrong they can go to court,’’ he added

Abronye DC disclosed that, if any candidate would prove a threat to the onward march of the NPP administration, then it would not be the former President as there were skeletons that were about to dance out of his cupboards.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has charged Ghanaians to oppose what he describes as the dictatorial governance style adopted by President Akufo-Addo in dealing with issues related to the press.

“…Let us rise up and speak against the dictatorial withdrawal of radio frequencies and closure of radio stations by the government of Nana Akufo-Addo. Let us remind and demand of government to stop paying lip service to the Right to Information Act. Let’s encourage, cherish and always expand frontiers of the freedom of the press in this digital world…” he said.
