Chairman of parliament’s government assurance committee, Collins Owusu Amankwah, has opined that persons who doubt the existence of government’s one-district-one-factory may be suffering from blindness.
The chair told Rainbow Radio’s Kwabena Agyapong that 58 of these factories are operational whereas 150 are at various stages of completion.
He said the government is on course in delivering the promise of this initiative and will not relent in its efforts in achieving it.
The opposition he added are only engaging in propaganda and failing to see the great achievements of the ruling government.
The one-million-per-constituency initiative he also indicated have been fulfilled with a number of initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Special Initiatives.
The one constituency one ambulance policy he said is part of the several initiatives and projects undertaken.
The performance of the government in the agric, health, education and other sectors he explained are unmatched.
"Road infrastructure across the country in every region is visible. Ghanaians can see and testify that the government has performed well. We have performed better and deserve the commendation. Our opponents are only engaging propaganda. Ghanaians gave us four years and we sign a social contract with them. If you think we have not performed, go to our manifesto and assess our performance sector by sector. We have delivered 83 percent of our manifesto promises. Our manifesto is our benchmark and we have performed well. There are some promises that were not even captured in our manifesto but we have delivered on them", the MP for Manhyia North added.
