About Dominic Nitiwul - Nyaho Tamakloe Is Incredulous and Petty

It has long been discerned that Nyaho Tamakloe is suffering some form of dementia, specifically with issues pertaining to the NPP, a party he touts to have once involved himself in founding. His pesky rhetoric is unbecoming of his self-acclaimed posture; a total disgrace to the elderly statesmanship that he falsely attributes to himself.

Anyway, that was just a brief of what majority of Ghanaians have come to think of him. In almost anything that he says, there is a slander hurled directly, indirectly, subtly, or imperceptibly at the person of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of ‘our’ country, Ghana. But why, at all, is he always on the President’s heels? Was it because John Mahama is his step-nephew and Ibrahim Mahama his direct nephew? But then again, is that enough premise to make a u-turn away from one’s ideals and beliefs? However, I am aware that there are lewd characters that violate their own principles for mere crumbs from supposed relatives who respect not age or relation, and Nyaho Tamakloe is one such person.

Dominic Nitiwul is young. Yes, he is! Dominic Nitiwul is smart. Yes, he is! Dominic Nitiwul is an inspiration to the teeming youth of Ghana. Yes, he is!

If Nyaho Tamakloe had any respect for Ghanaians, he would have appropriately placed himself in a position of mentorship to, instead of denigrating the youth, encourage and mentor them to realise the desired effect that is expected of them. Why should Dominc Nitiwul be too young to handle the business of the Ministry of Defence? If he could play his role professionally, astutely, and deftly, on the “Defence and Interior Committee” of Parliament as he did, why would he not be able to do same as a substantive Minister in this field?

Sometimes, Nyaho Tamakloe, in my opinion cannot be blamed for his lousy submissions. It is clear that at an advanced age as his, he is unable to achieve wisdom, foresightedness, and commonsense. Therefore, it certainly is not in the least surprising that he finds nothing good in the appreciable achievements of the youth. Is he not aware that there are young people in America, Europe, and elsewhere who have made an impact on their societies by way of transforming the lives of multitudes through their ingenuities? Is Nyaho Tamakloe trying to say that the youth of the West and others are more sensible, pragmatic, innovative, or visionary than ours? His attack on Honourable Nitiwul, though, and many more banters he had sparked do point to that disgraceful understanding. It is highly untrue and disrespectfully false to say that “old people always backwards”, but in the case of Nyaho Tamakloe, it is fundamentally true.
