Adisadel college PTA

Wed, 23 Jul 2014 Source: Boye, Freddie

On 31st May 2014, the Parent Teacher Association of Adisadel college held one of its fruitless meetings which was supposed to elect new executive members into office but it was postponed as expected because the leadership was not prepared for that exercise and secondly the typical Ghanaian attitude of “lets allow them, we don’t have time; its only money that they will talk about” made them go away without any account of their stewardship. Many things have gone wrong with this PTA administration ranging from inflating the cost of projects to lending themselves huge sums of money for political campaign. Are you surprised? Don’t be. It might sound strange and dumb-founding in your ears but that is the truth. When Mr. Frog joins its ancestors, we will definitely be in a position to determine the full length of its body. Ns3m hy3 ho plenty. “Fire burn them all”.

At the meeting the erstwhile headmaster Mr. Kwesi Krufi Graham who disgraced himself before the whole world, thereby bringing this noble school’s name into disrepute was given the opportunity to talk. The reason for that opportunity given to him to address the parents six months after retirement baffles me, but be that as it may, he stated CATEGORICALLY that he and his family have thought about the so-called gift the PTA planned giving him and “that they have decided they are no more interested in any gift whatsoever”. Bam! Is it not surprising therefore to here that his stooge Faustina Boadu or whatever she calls herself is surreptitiously conniving with the PTA leadership to waste parents’ money on that man with another gift. As for the PTA Chairman, he is a complete mumu. He is fast asleep but the legs are in public view. Go ahead and give him the parting gift, we are watching. This is all that Ghanaian leaders know how to do best, dissipating of funds for silly reasons. Is the PTA going to do same for every teacher who goes on retirement? The man has already shown that he has enough cars, stores and hostels cum having placed his children in schools abroad, what else does he need again? He says he doesn’t need anything from the PTA, period. By the way, when is he vacating the Acropolis? Kwesi, you see, what you said about the late Kitson has come back to haunt you. When the man died and the wife was sorting herself out, you told anyone who would listen that Mrs. Kitson didn’t want to move. After being given a date to vacate the premises by GES, you are still around. Shameless dude.

PTA Chairman, how come PTA projects have been given to the treasurer as contract, any tangible answers, or the same Ghana chop-chop? Is that why you and your executives are not ready to leave office though your term has expired?

O. K, we live to see.
