Akuffo Addo not an alternative to President Mahama

With few days to the December 7th Polls, which happens to be Ghana's 7th National Elections under Constitutional rule, Ghanaians will massively endorse hard work, humility, tolerance, massive development and economic transformation over violence, vindictiveness, intolerance, divisiveness and lies.

Ghanaians have a fair knowledge of whom the two leading candidates in this elections are, owing to the fact that both candidates, H.E President John Dramani Mahama and Nana Akuffo Addo have both had their political parties rule Ghana for some time.

The achievements of both parties and the track records of both candidates should be the basis for comparative analysis in making a choice as to whom to vote for.

Majority of Ghanaians today sees President John Dramani Mahama as a transformational, visionary and God Sent Leader.

He harnessed much experience as Vice President of Ghana and worked extremely hard to help the former President, late Prof Mills pursue his Better Ghana Agenda.

The most enviable track record of President Mahama as Vice President, is the fact that he supervised over a single digit inflation for more than 30 months as the head of Governments Economic Management Team then, amidst the implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy.

This is a target that the NPP government could not achieve in 8 years, even at a time that salaries of public workers were nothing to write home about.

As President, H.E John Dramani Mahama has transformed all sectors of the economy with massive investments in infrastructure that has in less than 4 years, provided 6000 bed Capacity Ultra Modern Health Facilities across the country, 123 community day senior high schools and massive expansions in several existing ones, increased water coverage from 56% to 78% , eliminated over 1614 basic schools that were under trees, provided several factories to aid production of local goods, opened up our towns and cities through the construction of several roads and interchanges and so many more. These Investments made have together provided millions of jobs for majority of Ghanaians and provided several other opportunities to the youth .

Aside these unparalleled achievements chalked by the President in his first term of office, President Mahama continues to remain humble, a unifier, father for all, compassionate and trustworthy.

Mr Akuffo Addo on the other hand, has little to show as personal achievements so he has on all platforms, sought to rely on the few Achievements of the Kuffour government as the reasons why Ghanaians should vote for him.

Events under his watch as Leader of the NPP is one that cannot elude the minds of Ghanaians and is practically the reasons why most Ghanaians believe that he is not an alternative to President Mahama.

Mr Akuffo Addo has supervised over anarchy, chaos, divisions, acid baths, vandalizing of vehicles, well-orchestrated suspensions of party stalwarts such as Mr Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyapong , Sammy Crabbe and hundred others who raised concerns over misappropriation of party funds by acclaimed loyalists of Akuffo Addo.

Mr Akuffo Addo has been tagged by many as Intolerant and a vindictive leader who takes delight in fighting whoever opposes his decisions. This is a negative attitude that Ghanaians cannot risk to have in someone we want as President of the Republic.

Ghana continues to be a peaceful nation with lovely people from different backgrounds hence the need to uphold the peace and stability we enjoy today by voting massively for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
