Revealed: Akufo-Addo To Send Rawlings To The Hague

By Nana Akua Tweneboah-Koduah

Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is engaged in subtle moves to sink President John Mahama and also destroy the fortunes of the NDC in the up-coming elections. That is why she had lately intensified her diabolical acts by concocting cock-and-bull stories to tarnish the image of the NDC and also dent their record achievements ahead of the December 7 polls.

It is amazing these days to hear Nana Konadu trying to get free press and so-called two cent fame with her wild unimaginable accusations against the NDC. But it is gratifying to note that even the NPP supporters consider her as a buzzing fly full of stinking worms.

Konadu, who has vowed to sink the NDC, has been able to push his husband JJ Rawlings to align himself with the NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to the extent that Rawlings invited him to his house and pleaded with him to be lenient with the NDC supporters in the unlikely event that he wins the election.

In addition, Konadu has suddenly become an apostle of free Senior High School (SHS) education. One would ask why Nana Konadu whose husband, JJ Rawlings was in power for 19 good years was not able to convince him to provide free SHS education if it was feasible. But today because she just wants to stay in the news she has jumped on the free SHS debate without even understanding anything about it.

Nana Konadu had been orchestrating all these acts with zeal just to poke her fingers in the eyes of the NDC which denied her the chance of becoming the party’s presidential candidate during the NDC Congress which came off in Sunyani in July 2011.

But as Konadu is busily working against the NDC and to a large extent for the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo is also busily working to get rid of Rawlings entirely from Ghana. Impeccable sources have revealed that Akufo-Addo had secretly prepared the docket to send Rawlings to the Hague to face trial for human rights abuses during his 19 years in power if Ghanaians make the mistake and vote for him to become the next Commander-in-Chief.

The sources maintained that Nana Akufo-Addo had always suspected Rawlings and Nana Konadu of having a hand in the killings of the three High Court Judges and the retired Army Officer in June 1982. They are Mr. Justice Fred Poku Sarkodie, Mrs. Justice Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, Mr. Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong were murdered together with Major Sam Acquah, a retired army officer. Remember the keys of the vehicle which was used in the abducted of the victims were taken from Konadu’s dining table.

The sources even revealed that Akufo-Addo has plans to also haul Nana Konadu before the courts in The Hague but wants to start with JJ Rawlings. Akufo-Addo who detests Rawlings to the hilt has sworn to permanently face out the Rawlingses from the political scene in Ghana by hauling them to The Hague.

The sources further disclosed that Akufo-Addo believes that in the unlikely event that he wins power, prosecuting the Rawlingses in Ghana might not be easy due to the popularity of Rawlings hence his decision to send them to The Hague.

This seeming threat is something that Konadu who is busily campaigning to make Akufo-Addo the next president of Ghana should be wary of, because she is dangerously playing to the gallery of Akufo-Addo and possibly digging her own grave and that of her husband Rawlings.

Akufo-Addo is said to have bitterly stated that he regrets for not pushing Kufuor to deal decisively with Rawlings to cow him once and for all during his tenure as the first Attorney General and Minister of Justice in the Kufuor’s government.

Nana Akufo-Addo, who had confessed to close sources that he sees Rawlings as a potential treat and an unrepentant soul who can easily turn on you if you refuse to do his biddings, has sworn to deal with him ruthlessly if he gains power.

Nana Konadu is therefore, stepping on a live bomb by throwing her weight behind Akufo-Addo. The NDC meanwhile does not need the support of Nana Konadu who at this time does not bring anything good to the table. This woman is now torn between the NDC who she sees as the devil and the NPP deep blue sea.
