US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan is delighted with the performance of the side in the ongoing campaign.
The Neroverdi started the season brightly after collecting 13 points from their opening six games - which propelled them to 3rd on the league log.
The Mapei Stadium outfit has however managed to pick just 6 points in their last 5 matches which has put coach Roberto De Zerbi under pressure.
"I think the team is doing very well this year. I am working to be one of the best and to always be among the first choices of the coach, although there are many strong midfielders.”
Duncan opened his scoring account in the campaign last weekend in their 3-3 draw with AC Fiorentina.
He is expected to keep his position in the team when they play as guests to Frosinone Calcio on Sunday.
