All this useless politicking with happenings at SSNIT is irritating

Folks, have we not had too much already about daily reports on the "rot" at SSNIT that this Akufo-Addo government is dishing out to us? For some time now, no day passes by without reports telling us what went wrong at SSNIT under its previous management team.

Every day, too much crying with no practical action being taken to solve the problem. Too much dirtying of figures seen as NDC operatives having something to do with the so-called "rot' at SSNIT. Meantime, Basket-Mouth (Yaw Osafo-Marfo) has his two sons in place there. What for?

The focus is on politically oriented characters associated with SSNIT, be it Joshua Alabi, Ernest Thompson, or whoever else (including Ibrahim Mahama or Eddie Annang before him). Too much whistling in the wind by the Akufo-Addo operatives just to paint the NDC government under Mahama as horrible and to intensify the scare-mongering nonsense.

Now, this one too: SSNIT scandal hits $81m

It seems no one behind all this propaganda has any concrete fact on the specific amount of money involved in the so-called (trumped-up) deal. If so, why does that quantum keep changing from time to time?

What is the bustling and hustling all about? If Akufo-Addo and his government think that those featuring in the "deals" at SSNIT have committed egregious economic crimes, why not drag them to court immediately instead of boring us with all these daily allegations and inflation of figures just to sustain the dirty politics that put them in power, that sustains them, and that will get them out of power eventually when they fail to serve the interests of the electorate?

Why the daily chorus on SSNIT and no action against the so-called perpetrators of the "rot"? No choir business here!! No piping anymore!! We are fed up with this kind of useless dirty politics. Let action against the culprits end it all. It doesn't have to wait for the elusive Office of Special/Independent Public Prosecutor to pursue. The existing legal regime can take care of such cases.

Now is the time for action in this case. The courts are well-equipped to handle this matter if the government can be bold enough to establish a case for prosecution against the culprits. Anything else is dubious and irritating.

Let the legal gymnastics begin now. No more of the useless publications on happenings at SSNIT. Bring the culprits to book to end it all.
