...as NDC Serial Callers?
I am beginning to get perplexed by the attitude of some members, or supposed members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). I wonder how they can easily fall for the NDC propaganda machine. I would rather expect them to resist such temptations no matter how powerfully the NDC propaganda machine churns out lies.
These people coming from, or purporting to come from, the NPP, as members, sympathisers or concerned Ghanaian citizens, have raised a cause for alarm about the sanity of their thinking. I do not know on which planet in our Solar System they hail from. I am not convinced they are part of this earthly planet on which my readers and I live.
Are they Ghanaians able to see, understand and critically analyse issues to offer cogent advice? When I read their expressed views both orally and written, I can only ask myself the question, how? Until today, some of them if not acting mischievously, still blame Nana Akufo Addo for being the stumbling block militating against the successful election of NPP into government.
Do these people accusing Nana Akufo Addo and wishing he closes the chapter of his political career now, real members of the NPP? Did they watch the real-time (live) telecast of the Atuguba’s Supreme Court proceedings on Election 2012 petition? Did they hear all the oral evidences given by the principal witnesses for both the petitioners and the respondents? Did they keep close eye on the demeanour of all the three witnesses, the Lead Counsels and the judges? Did they see on Thursday, 29 August 2013, how Justice William Atuguba hurriedly rendered their judgment within five minutes without the full Statement report on the verdict been ready? Why has the Supreme Court come under the sharpened axe of condemnation by the rank and file if indeed, their verdict delivered in favour of President Mahama was credible and in line with the evidence adduced both from the “pink sheets” and the respondents’ witnesses? In a nutshell, did they follow the Court proceedings intently?
Why should I spend precious time asking questions to these seeming malevolent persons who care less about knowing the truth? Nana Akufo Addo neither lost the elections nor the Court case when all facts are assembled, studied and critically analysed as viewed from the live telecast of the Court proceedings. It is just that some criminals ganged up at every stage from the election time through to the delivery of the Supreme Court verdict to rob him of the presidency. Therefore, NPP members, both loyal and disloyal to Nana Akufo Addo and the party should not blame him for the mishap.
Why should they continually behave awkwardly towards him as though he has actually not been able to win in either of both presidential races of 2008 and 2012? Age, also, is a number. Please cease using his advance age as an effective weapon to wield to bring him down. His brains are a million times sharper than that of the old evil dwarfs or babies with sharp teeth in the NDC government who are almost all thieves.
We need an incorruptible person like Nana Akufo Addo to be the head of government to bring sanity into the whole country. When the head is sick or corrupt, the entire body or system becomes corrupted or sick. Now that the integrity of President Mahama is in doubt, when it comes to corruption, the entire nation is corrupted. Everywhere one goes; there is foul smell of corruption.
Will those in the NPP fallen to the trickery of the NDC propaganda machine cease behaving irresponsibly from today onwards after reading this very succinctly expressed view of mine? I believe all NDC serial callers are psychologically and morally sick in their mind because of the deliberate lies they are fond of telling all of the time. When it is black, they aspire to tell the world it is white. When it is a goat, Baba Jamal advises them to say it is a cow/bull. Is it not only someone sick in the mind that would do that?
The NDC sycophants are all over the airwaves vowing that Nana Akufo Addo would never be allowed to become the President of Ghana having always won majority votes in two out of the ten regions in Ghana. I have discussed how the Constitution allows for winning 50%+1 vote of the popular votes cast in any general elections to be declared the winner. It does not say you have to win majority of the number of regions as is the view of the ignorant and "educated illiterates" within the NDC party. If Nana Akufo Addo had not been robbed of his chance right from the polling station level through to national level as shown on the pink sheets, he could have been seen to have won more than the two regions the NDC with their agents and assigns relish in mentioning with the aim of teasing the NPP presidential candidate. When at all will some people learn to be intelligent to understand simple logics?
