Asantehene Has A Solid Legal Case Against Techimanhene

To point a loaded gun or weld a machete at another person with threats of violence constitutes a very serious crime under the laws of Ghana, let alone subjecting the victim to false imprisonment and perpetrating violent assault against him.

This is exactly what the Techimanhene did to Tuobodomhene and it is a criminal act. The Techimanhene committed crimes. The Techimanhene should be destooled, be brought to justice and be incarcerated.

There is precedent to this case in another Akan tribe (not Ashanti) of which I have first-hand knowledge. In this referenced case a sitting chief of a very popular and prominent town within this particular Akan tribe, threatened his kingmakers with a loaded gun, in a matter in which the kingmakers had convened with the chief, to examine some malfeasance committed by the chief. Fearing destoolement, the chief drew a gun to frighten the kingmakers. This particular chief was arrested and destooled for threatening other people with a gun.

Asantehene indeed has a solid legal case against Techimanhene.
