Political Scientist and a card bearing member of the governing party, Dr. Richard Amoako Baah has fired a shot at the government, accusing the Attorney General (AG) also the President's advisor on legal matters, Madam Gloria Akuffo of presiding over injustices and illegalities in Ghana.
"The office of the Attorney General is an appointed one, and therefore not surprising to be involved in politics... But those in the business of justice delivery cannot behave like others in the government", he pointed out.
According to the political analysist who spoke to journalists on happenings under the Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, explained when the Special Prosecutor (SP), Mr. Martin Amidu complained about lack of resources to prosecute cases, the AG painted a picture to make the SP look bad in the eyes of the public and called Mr. Amidu 'a dishonest character' because of parochial party interest.
" People in government should know that a culture of silence in government only breeds intimidation, sycophancy, and incompetence to the extent that when something is going wrong, it goes all the way wrong", the onetime contested NPP National Chairman told this reporter, Kwabena Danso-Dapaah.
"I already see too much politics from the Attorney General", Dr. Richard Amoako Baah added taking swipe at Attorney General Gloria Akuffo.
"As it is said, justice is blind, and those who administer it must do so with integrity and fairness", the outspoken KNUST lecturer noted.
