"Awurade Nyame", How Did We End Up In This Mills Mess?

Thu, 28 Jul 2011 Source: Sarpong, Justice

President Mills is an accomplished academician. The man obtained his PhD at the tender age of 27 and that is an enviable record in Ghana when some Ghanaians during Mills time at that age were barely out of their "A" levels, we have to give it to him, the man is academically geniues but as a President, he has been a huge disappointment to Ghanaians including his mentor. Ex-President J.J Rawlings. Mills has just exchanged one Master for another. He is not his owm man as he wants Ghanaians to believe, the man is now being controlled by the Ahwoi clan who are using their positions in this Mills administration to amass wealth

President Mills has been covering his shortcomings as a President by wrapping himself in Cardinals robes and telling us God is his Co-President whist he is on messianic zeal and crusading us with satanic policies and therefore anybody who criticises him is in essence criticising God, a smart move temporary in political terms but Ghanaians are fast catching up to his hypocritical sermonizations. Mills is all hats and no cows as we say in Texas, his religious pontifications are not backed by his deeds. The man is presiding on a government full of irresponsible twats and square pegs trying to fit into round holes. HOW DO YOU USE WINGED PLANES TO HUNT FOR ARMED ROBBERS AND RESCUE FLOOD VICTIMS, HOW, MR PRESIDENT? I thought Baba Jamal nonsense was due to his foolishness not knowing that the disease called "Jamalirities"(Jamal disease) has afflicted the whole NDC fraternity including the President.

I am really baffled by his recent insuniation that, if the five Planes he personally approved without consulting his cabinet would have alleviated the sufferings of the flood victims in Eastern and Volta regions, one wonders if our academi cally gifted President has any idea of what he was talking about. For those who might have missed our President's faux-pas, this is what he said;

"According to President Mills, the havoc caused by the floods in some parts of the Eastern Region vindicates government’s decision to acquire the aircraft, arguing that they could have been used to rescue some of the thousands affected by the floods."

REALLY?

These planes would have been rescuing people from trees at a speed of between 300 to 400 miles surgically picking people up and landing at the Afram planes and Kwahu mountains area is that what President Mills is telling us? I know our President was not a little bit tipsy at that time of the day but if our President is not aware that you don't use wing planes for rescue missions but rather what you need to do the job he was talking about are helicopters, then may God help us all. The armed forces already have helicopters for seek and rescue operations and unless the President is having a selective amnesia for political expediency, then this President is the most hypocrite amongst Ghanaian Politicians. It is crystal clear the NDC Politicians including the President have no idea the type of aircraft that is required to rescue people from disaster areas.You don't use winged aircraft to rescue people perching on trees at the speed of 400 miles an hour. What you need is a helicopter that can be stationary in the air to accomplish that obejective.

One of the reporting houses has this to say about how clueless President Mills and his government have no idea what they are doing;

'"Planes to be used to rescue flood victims?

... Minister said it could be used to hunt armed robbers

... This is becoming an expensive JOKE!!!!

... Helicopters will do a better Job"

An expensive joke indeed. Some Africans from Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda around where I live are now having a time of their lives poking fun at any Ghanaian they encounter about our government which can't tell what a helicopter and winged planes are.

How did Ghanaians get into this mess of a government with people who are behaving as if they never attended school? Baba Jamal the 'Jihadist' said that these planes will be used to stop armed robbers, HOW? Not to be out done, his colleague deputy Information Minister, the disrespectful Okudzeto Ablakwa has to insult Ghanaians on the same issue by spewing this vituperative sophomoric nonsense;

We Are Purchasing Planes Not Tico Or Land Cruiser – Okudzeto Date: 25-Jul-2011

Deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has slammed critics, especially members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) who have questioned the propriety of the NDC government’s decision to purchase five new jets at what they claim to be exorbitant price. Justifying the price of the aircraft, Mr. Ablakwa stated categorically that the NDC government is buying five new aircrafts for the military not a Tico or a Toyota Land Cruiser, hence the cost involved. But speaking in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show, Okudzeto Ablakwa dismissed assertions by the NPP that the Embraer 190 aircraft is not being acquired as a “Strategic Airlift Aircraft” to “significantly enhance the operations of the Ghana Armed forces, especially in its peacekeeping operations as put out by the government.

We are buying aircraft not Land cruiser or Tico or Nissan Toyota so it is important for us to look at the facts of the matter. This is not the first time we are buying aircrafts, in 2006, the NPP bought four aircrafts, EK 28 light fighter jets and we didn’t make any noise. The only issue we had at the time was that they had purchased these aircrafts without parliamentary approval,” he noted."

Now this boy who has never had any meaningful job before President Mills gifted him with a deputy Ministerial post and did not even own a bicycle tire has the audacity to talk to Ghanaians like this. What does he know about airplanes when this idiot first time of getting into one was when he became a deputy minister? Now this beaver teeth has amassed enough money to attract a woman to marry him and honeymooned in USA so he can insult the hardworking Ghanaian taxpayers.

Now back to President Mills, was he really sympathizing with the flood victims or politicking? Is President Mills telling Ghanaians that our Airforce has no helicopters at this time? We know our Airfoce has helicopters that if President Mills was really a man who cares about Ghanaians as he has been pontificating, he could have ordered the Airforce to use its hecopters to rescue the flood victims because even if we have the five planes he was talking about, none of those planes could have been used to rescue the flood victims so why is President Mills telling the flood victims tall tales that can only be appropriate for "Kwaku Ananse" fables? Is President Mills a real Christian as he want Ghanaians to believe or he is using the Bible and the name of God as an iron curtain to shack his responsibilities and cover his messy administration? What kind of God fearing President hides behind a rapists like Stan Dogbe as his Aide to do his dirty work for him? How can President Mills acting like a Pope appoint rapists, drug dealers, liars and thieves in his administration?

What kind of a President will appoint people like Baba Jamal and Okudzeto Ablakwa as the government information disseminators? We are talking about two liars who can't even lie intelligently. The same Baba Jamal that tried to defend the Presidents so called juju ring by saying the President's hands was cut when he exchanged handshakes with a Chief from Western region without realising that, the disputed ring was on the left hand of President Mills. We know in our culture we don't shake hands with our left hand. Then we have this idiot beaver teeth schoolboy Ablakwa who lied about the government having created 1.6 million jobs when the Minister of that sector even disputed that figure.

President Mills as a matter of fact is becoming a disgrace to Ghanaians everywhere. If a President can come out and say that an airplane fitted with one million entertainment gadgets is going to be used to rescue flood victims and used as a 'taxi' to transport Ghanaian soldiers on UN missions when children attend classes under trees and our hospitals are in dilapedated conditions without equipments necessary to treat common diseases to save lives, then our priorities as a nation is really screwed up.
