Ghana international Abdul Rahman Baba joined several of his Schalke teammates as they trek to an orphanage in the city of Gelsinkirchen to spend time with the children.
The Ghanaian together with his colleagues which included ex-Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo were with the kids for several hours and played with them after which they made an unspecified donation.
Di Santo, who led the group indicated that it was nice to be with the children and also to make them happy.
“It was a great day with the kids! A beautiful moment and trying to put a smile on their faces.” He stated.
All the players who made the trip are expected to feature on Saturday when Schalke welcome leaders Dortmund to the Veltins Arena.
