I address you from a place of unwavering dedication to our shared vision, even as I navigate the temporary setback of my suspension from the party. I urge each one of us to remain steadfast and let this moment inspire us all to contribute more robustly to the cause we believe in.
Our party has always stood for the values of justice, progress, and unity. These values remain intact, regardless of the challenges we face. It is crucial now, more than ever, that we come together to ensure the continued strength and success of our party.
Our party has always been a beacon of hope; the principles we champion and the goals we strive to achieve are bigger than any individual. It is during moments like these that we must rally together, demonstrating our resilience and unwavering commitment to our mission.
The foundation of our party’s success in the upcoming elections lies in the generous support of our members. Your donations enable the party to run impactful campaigns that amplify our message and reach every corner of our nation. Being in opposition for eight years has had a greater impact on the party. Resources are needed to back our candidates who embody our values and work tirelessly to represent us.
Adopt constituencies or branches, and let your contributions work on the ground. Channeling our resources to the grassroots for a more effective outcome is the purpose for which branch and constituency adoption became the party’s call for action.
Our work on the ground, where it matters most, is of greater significance than any other forms of support. Our funds will help host events that engage, inform, and mobilize our communities, ensuring our voice remains strong and influential.
I want to urge all to let our support extend beyond monetary donations. Your time, skills, and resources on the ground are equally invaluable. Remember, elections are won at the polling stations.
Comrades, volunteer your time and join in person to canvass, organize events, or
help in administrative tasks. Every second you dedicate makes a significant difference. Let us donate campaign materials (T-Shirts, party paraphernalia) and other resources which are always needed to keep the operations efficient and effective.
I urge you all to make available to the party, whether in communication, logistics, legal advice, or any other field, and in your professional skills in any way, our efforts can be greatly enhanced.
Your belief in our cause and your active participation are the bedrock of our strength. Our party believes in rule and order, and I can assure you all that justice will be served in my case. My integrity is one thing I uphold in everything I do. I stand for the truth and believe that the constitution must be allowed to work for the purpose of equity.
I am much motivated by a statement by our National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, during the 2024 elections national campaign launch in Tamale. He said, and I quote, “You’ll find yourself alone on the day of accountability if you follow bad “orders” from above’.
Rest assured, the party is bigger than any individual, and surely truth and accountability will prevail. I encourage you to continue to advocate for our party’s vision within your communities, encouraging others to join and support us. Your optimism and unwavering belief in our mission are contagious and help sustain our collective morale.
My suspension, while disheartening, should not detract any of us from the larger mission we are all a part of. On the contrary, let it serve as a reminder of the importance of our work and the need for continued dedication, because even now, I have no regrets because I gave my all and everything while in service. It was not for the gain, but for the passionate love I have for the party, which has nonetheless wavered despite the suspension.
I have not ceased to render my services or support on the grounds or anywhere I am called to. Our party’s strength lies in its members’ collective will and resolve. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and continue to drive forward the change we seek. Let us not be swayed by temporary setbacks. Instead, let us reaffirm our commitment to the principles and goals that unite us. Your continued support is not just appreciated but essential.
To my Comrades in the Germany Chapter of our party, I call upon you to take full
participation in the fund-raising activities coming up in Hannover, Frankfurt, or any other place of organisation. Go out in your numbers and donate generously and passionately.
I am a passionate Ghanaian and believer in the ideals of our great party: Do your bit, and the reward is a better Ghana for all of us.
I extend the same call to all Comrades in the diaspora to do same. I know how demoralised my suspension has caused all of us, but look at the bigger picture of the party and how the suffering masses in Ghana are looking up to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to rescue them. We cannot afford to fail them. The national campaign has been launched, and all resources must be harnessed now more than ever.
I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone who has stood with me unwaveringly until now. Also, my gratitude goes to all at the National Headquarters who have been supportive of me since this suspension. My faith in our party, its rule of law, and its fight for truth and justice has been renewed and strengthened since actions to resolve my case started.
It is on this note that I call on us all to even take more action so that our dear party can return to power to serve the cause Ghana deserves. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. Let us move forward with renewed energy and purpose, ensuring our party remains a powerful force in the 2024 general elections.
