When Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, a "distant" relative of mine, was running against Nana Akufo-Addo, the former's good friend, Dr. McHypocrite, did not miss any opportunity to highlight what he consistently and insistently claimed to be the violent political track-record of Ghana's distinguished front-row trial lawyer. Maybe the South Carolina-resident Dr. McHypocrite takes the leaders of the New Patriotic Party for "fools." Of course, he has called them "fools" and continues to call them "fools" (See "Re: Amoako Baah Demands Expulsion Of..." Modernghana.com 5/15/15). Nearly every levelheaded critic who has taken on the Fante-Asebu native has underscored what that critic invariably envisages to be the overweening pride and insufferable arrogance of Dr. McHypocrite.
He also claims to nurse no animosity towards the 2016 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), but his written and published words, as well as his spoken words, expose him for the unconscionable pathological liar that he inescapably is. And he also knows perfectly well that he cannot hide behind the libertarian principles and rhetoric of Drs. Danquah and Busia to peddle his slime and not expect to be vehemently challenged.
If you have goodwill towards somebody, you do not write reams of scatological articles accusing him/her of being temperamentally and congenitally violent without providing a single shred or instance of such violence to back up your accusations. In legal parlance, this is called "Defamation" and "Libel." In political language, it is called "Character Assassination"; and this is what Dr. McHypocrite has been doing to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo since the former Justice Minister thoroughly trounced this uppity wannabe-Asante and President of Ghana in the 2007 New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary on the campus of the country's flagship academy, the University of Ghana.
He has also constantly and consistently attacked Nana Akufo-Addo whose version of the name "Dankwa" he cannot even spell. And yet, this was the man whom the faultingly conciliatory Nana Akufo-Addo hired to serve as his Communications Director for his 2007 presidential-election campaign. Even more telling of his implacable hatred for Nana Akufo-Addo is the fact that in nearly every article that he has written attacking the former NPP-MP for Akyem-Abuakwa South, Dr. McHypocrite has not hesitated to accuse his archnemesis of cannibalizing the NPP Presidential Candidacy slot or position, almost as it it were a hereditary stool or monarchy, without recognizing the imperative need to citing even a single instance in which Nana Akufo-Addo prevented any presidential-candidate aspirant from squarely and fairly competing against him.
It is also inexcusably reprehensible for the Tweneboa-Kodua Secondary School alumnus who claims, by virtue of him having been raised and educated in the Asante Region, to be a "Naturalized Asante" with invested privilege to malign and character assassinate Ghanaians of Akyem descent, particularly Abuakwa-descended Akyem, to crave the protective indulgence of "Akyem-Mafia Lawyers" like Messrs. Akoto-Ampaw, Gabriel Asare Otchere-Darko and Asante Bediatuo. He even has the temerity to drag Messrs. Owusu-Afriyie (aka Sir John), Ayikoi-Otu, Bondzie-Simpson and Paintsil into the fray. And then he adds the name of Ms. Gloria Akuffo for good measure. Maybe Ms. Akuffo ought to ask of the role played by Dr. McHypocrite in the heat of the 2012 Presidential-Election Petition.
Well, for those who may have so soon forgotten his inglorious role, Dr. McHypocrite had teamed up with his bosom buddy, Dr. McNasty, and the impenitently brazen Mahama mole, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe, in an attempt to preemptively derail the entire legitimate process. And when they failed in the attempt, the "Sinister Trio" then set out to virulently prejudice not only the general Ghanaian public against Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party, as a whole, but even more egregiously the minds and opinions of the nine Supreme Court justices who presided over the petition. And now having epically failed in his dastardly attempt to destroying both Nana Akufo-Addo - remember McHypocrite's "All-Die-Be-Die" anti-Akufo-Addo propaganda pieces? - and the chances of the suffering Ghanaian masses for progressive, productive and responsible leadership, McHypocrite now wants to know whether his epic failure has been squarely due to the fact that he belongs to the "wrong ethnic group and family."
Well, does this pretender know the difference between an ethnic group and a sub-ethnic polity? And is he a real medical doctor or just a license-renting one? Come on, McHypocrite, let's go to Akyem-Mansa-Mu and let me introduce you to real doctors!
