Change Has Come To Ghana

Fri, 19 Dec 2008 Source: Nkansah, Charles N.

Hello Ghana.

To the millions of Ghanaians who trampled over every act of intimidation, harassment, gross abuse of incumbency using every property of Ghana belonging to all of us including the media (print, radio and television) to launch an unprecedented psychological warfare all in a calculated attempt by the NPP to coward you to surrender, but you refused and turned out in your numbers to reject this garbage called “MOVING FORWARD INTO MESS AND MORE MESS,” I say thank you and God richly Bless you for the sweet victory so far.

Today, because of your bravery, we have severely broken the dirty, dirty myth surrounding the NPP which created the “wagon-effect” that attracted political prostitutes like Frances Assiam, Maame Dokono, Owuraku Amofa, and many other same minded stomach politicians.

Today, because of your bravery, we have brought the first phase of CHANGE to Ghana in the REFERENDUM held on December 7, 2008 elections on the eight years of Mr. John Agyekum Kufour and his Kangaroo NPP’s failed and broken promises. On LIBERATION DAY, December 28, 2008 let us again MATCH ON TRIUMPHANTLY AS SOLDIERS in this run-off election to make CHANGE HAPPEN COMPLETELY.

The CHANGE WE NEED shall not be complete unless we MOVE FORWARD this animal called Kukrudu or Kangaroo into the thickest part of the bush and God willing, We Shall. And when it’s all said and done we shall look back and say: “Oh Thank God” for delivering us from the hands of this incompetent, arrogant, corrupt, insensitive Kangaroo NPP government whose penchant for telling lies and wrong choices have brought untold hardships upon every Ghanaian except themselves, the unscrupulous few.

Today because of your bravery, the Ghanaian voter shall never again be taken for granted by this Kangaroo NPP government who lied to you and I in that manifesto called “Positive Change 1 and 2” eight years ago but ended up increasing petrol and kerosene prices, increasing taxes, increasing premix fuel and using pair trawlers to clean up the bottom of the sea and arrogantly sold Ga Lands to themselves with impunity. Achimota Forest I heard is next.

Today because of your bravery, Ghana’s august house of parliament tasked to make real laws to improve the lives of every Ghanaian has gotten ride of arrogant empty barrels and twerps like Mr. Stephen Asamoah Boateng aka “Kokonte” Minister and Sheikh I. “Ceritficateless” Quaye even though he is trying hard to steal his way back. Our new parliament shall also resumed without traitors of the lofty ideals of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah like Mr. Kodjo Armah and Mr. Freddie Blay aka “Ellembelle Mugabe”, a man who vowed he would even sell his own mother who carried him in her womb for nine months because of politics.

Now, is anyone out there who still doubts the power of the THUMB of the good people of Ghana to effect a CHANGE?

Is anyone out there who still believes in the power of arrogantly splashing Ghana’s LOOTED MONEY that belongs to you and I, giving Santa Claus rice and cooking oil, bicycles, sewing machines, hair dryers, etc, etc to poor Ghanaians aimed at buying our conscience so they can return after another four years of failed and broken promises just to call you and I “lazy”?

Is anyone out there who still believes in promising the Ghanaian people lies and only come back after another four years using the power of TRAINED ARMED MACHOMEN and TUGS to snatch and hijack ballot boxes in an unprecedented Kangaroo armed robbery style all with the intention of stealing the will of the Ghanaian people even though they voted for CHANGE?

If you are still that guy, then this message is for you. I put it to you that Ghanaians are not foolish or too stupid to think for themselves as some of you in NPP think we are. You cannot take us for granted. I put it to you that the dirty, dirty myth surrounding the NPP has been terribly broken and every curse or bondage placed over our nation in the last eight years to silence the voices of the masses has been broken. We prayed, we fasted and asked for Divine intervention and YES WE DID. On December 28, we shall make this CHANGE complete and we shall MOVE FORWARD this animal called Kukrudu which has now CHANGED itself to Kangaroo into the thickest part of the BUSH.

I listened to my good friend Mr. Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, Chairman of the Failed Nana Akufo Addo Onetouch campaign a day after the elections when the results started coming in and NPP arrogant MPs were being deflected left, right and center. Jake for the first time since he was born, spoke like an orphan. Seriously, it’s amazing how the power of the THUMB of the Ghanaian voter can humble arrogant men like Jake. How I wished we could have elections every year. I wondered if this was the same arrogant and corrupt Jake I know. The same Jake who for over one year after he seized to be a minister of state, refused to vacate his government bungalow because he enjoys free rent, free telephone, free electricity, free water and free everything. Now I heard he wants to own the bungalow free for life. How greedy can an arrogant man be? Yet these are the kind of arrogant men Nana Akufo Addo surrounds himself with and then turns around to look you and I in the face and tell us, we are MOVING FORWARD? Nana MOVING FORWARD to where? To Cocaine Coast? Come on, give me a damn break!

Then again on Thursday December 11, 2008, I wasted my time and ears when I listened to another one, Dr. Arthur Kennedy, Communications Director of the Failed Nana Akufo Addo Onetouch campaign on Joy Fm Elections Headquarters program. Dr. Arthur Kennedy made two laughable statements about NPP’s new strategy for the run-off on Liberation Day. This was what Dr. Kennedy said: • NPP will go out to the communities to ask NDC members who are afraid of former President JJ Rawlings returning to power to vote for the NPP. • NPP will tell the electorate that the legacy of out-going President John Agyekum Kufour is at risk.

Legacy of President John Agyekum Kufour is at risk? What animal was that? Dr. Arthur Kennedy has a problem. No wonder he could only managed one vote, I mean “single one” for himself when he ran for President after traveling across the length and breadth of Ghana. Even his own campaign staff didn’t vote for him because they simply don’t trust him. His problem is he stayed out of Ghana for far too long.

• Dr. Arthur Kennedy like many of his arrogant Kangaroo NPP colleagues ran away from Ghana when the going was tough and only returned to Ghana after Ghanaian heroes like teachers, students, fishermen, farmers, our men and women in uniform, left everything they were doing and went to the remotest areas of Ghana where there were no roads to carry cocoa to re-build Ghana, a nation destroyed beyond recognition by this same arrogant “Kalabule” people we see today in this Kangaroo NPP government. • Dr. Arthur Kennedy only returned to Ghana after hardworking farmers, fishermen, carpenters, fitters, brick layers, drivers, men and women in uniform and what have you courageously came together and wrote the 4th Republican Constitution which same people like himself who today claims, he is the only qualified physician in Ghana, learned lawyers, professors, etc boycotted and said over their dead body. That Consultative Assembly was the one which gave birth to the democracy we all enjoy today including Dr. Arthur Kennedy. • Dr. Arthur Kennedy only returned to Ghana after everything became “Aben wa ha” and tough times were gone only to MOVE FORWARD millions of dollars of Ghana’s taxpayers money meant to provide the needed healthcare to every Ghanaian through the NHIS into his private pockets. Dr. Arthur Kennedy, if you ask any Ghanaian about what took place when cowards like yourself ran away; they will tell you, the same “Kalabule” men and women, the same rot and abuse has resurrected in the last eight years thanks to President John Agyekum Kufour and his Kangaroo NPP “Men” and women. They will tell you that, on Liberation Day December 28, every concerned Ghanaian be it NPP, NDC, CPP, PNC, DFP, RDP, Independents or undecided shall MOVE FORWARD and finally nail the coffin of corruption, the cocaine regime, the Kufour Buckets, the Armed Robbery, and the dry cleaning of the nation’s coffers so we can revive Ghana out of coma after eight years of rot and total mess. Now Dr. Arthur Kennedy, you tell me about President John Agyekum Kufour’s legacy that is at risk.

Dr. Arthur Kennedy, this election is not about JJ Rawlings so stop fooling yourself thinking you are fooling Ghanaians. What we are talking about here is a CHANGE that will deliver our people from the evil choices of NPP that brought untold suffering upon our people in the land.

Now, Nana Akufo Addo I heard Dr. Arthur Kennedy, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and others just lost their jobs after they succeeded in turning your Onetouch campaign that into your own funeral with some sober reflections considering the huge money pumped into this useless venture. I also heard you are now in-charge of your own campaign since that announcement. “Masa” don’t worry, you are next. Come December 28, the good people of Ghana will use the THUMB again to make CHANGE complete and this time around, we shall take your own job away I promise you.

You might want to ask President John Agyekum Kufour for that tractor donated to him recently by the National Award Winners Association provided Mr. John Agyekum Kufour has not already sold it. Farming in Kyebi will be a good retirement venture. You and I as well as every Ghanaian knows very well that, that man Mr. John Agyekum Kufour, prefers traveling about the globe to soiling his hands on the farm. That tractor is a waste because he has never farmed in his whole life and he will not start farming now at 70 years most especially so he has managed to MOVE FORWARD so much KICKBACK into his private pockets “waa waa waa”.

This election is not just about CHANGE, but it's about even more than that. It's not just about the teachers and nurses who have not been paid for the last 24 months or about the cocaine on the streets creating the likes of “Frank The Junkie” (Frank Benneh). It's not just about jobs for the youth selling dogs and dog chains on the streets or is it about education and healthcare for all Ghanaians. It's about our value as Ghanaian people and how our value has deteriorated for the last eight years. It’s about our dignity as human beings. It's about our pride as Ghanaians. It's about opportunity for all and respect for every Ghanaian no matter where that person comes from or who his/her father was.

Remember in this election, Nana Akuffo Addo has clearly demonstrated and justified why they are now Kangaroos instead of Elephants. Nana Akuffo Addo says their Kangaroo traits informs their Kangaroo management of the economy, Kangaroo Supreme Court, Kangaroo Motor Courts, Kangaroo economic choices like soliciting loans from a Hairdresser’s Salon, Kangaroo justification of Dr. Anane’s promiscuously disgraceful behaviour, Kangaroo sale of Ghana Telecom to Vodafone and just recently the Kangaroo sale of Valco which was a daylight robbery. Indeed, this Valco case is of special interest because Nana Akuffo Addo and Mr. John Agyekum Kufour have both mentioned it on the campaign platform. In short the NPP simply “Kangaroo Everything” upside down in Ghana.

That's the reason why Prof. John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama are in this race.

Prof John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama know WE NEED CHANGE if we're to restore the dignity, pride, and respect for every Ghanaian.

Prof John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama know that Ghana's best days are ahead of us and that the Cocaine Coast we have become in the last eight years shall pass.

Prof John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama are in this race for the teachers, nurses, doctors, drivers, and our men and women in uniform, the “kayayos”, every Ghanaian worker, local industries and all Ghanaians who play by the rule of law, work hard, and do what is asked of them. Ghanaians deserve a government as good and an economy as strong as they are, so everyone can feel it in their pockets and daily lives. Ghanaians don’t need any Kangaroo man to tell them “WE ARE MOVING FORWARD” if indeed we are. Above all Ghanaians can go to sleep knowing they have a government who cares and one they can trust. All these will not happen in Nana Akufo Addo’s Ghana.

That’s why we're all Ghanaians. There has never been a challenge too great. We fought colonialism and brought HOPE and DIGNITY to all Blackman by becoming the first Black African nation to attain independence in 1957. We have shown to the world that the Black man can manage his own affairs. We produced the first Black man to head the United Nations; Mr. Kofi Annan. It was this same HOPE that propelled Barack Obama that young Senator from Chicago whom nobody gave a dog’s chance when he launched his bid to making history as the first Black President of the United States. The December 7 elections has proved wrong those who have done everything humanly possible to ensure that Prof John Atta Mills never lived to see this day when the Minority NDC can become the Majority NDC after eight long years of calculated persecution and vilification.

Folks, the Lord is on our side and we can do it again on December 28. The stakes have never been higher. Our nation is at the crossroads and every Ghanaian must see this run-off election as a national call to duty. Stand up and fight to LIBERATE our nation from the hand of rogues because the real power rests with your THUMB. Let’s send these Arrogant Kangaroo Men back to where they belong, the BUSH.

Ghana is ready. You are ready and Prof John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama are ready. Our best days are yet to come.

If Dr. Arthur Kennedy asks any of you what’s the time, please tell him it is Prof John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama’s Time. Ghana deserves better than four more years of Arrogant and Vindictive Nana Akufo Addo MOVING Us FORWARD INTO MESS and MORE MESS.

YERESESEM!!! YERESESEM!!! YERESESEM!!!

Thank you and May God Save Our Motherland.

I Charles N. Nkansah, I approved this message.
