Darko, Baba Jamal And Pratt Are Inciting Political Division

Wed, 31 Oct 2007 Source: Amankwah, Nana Kofi

The essence of freedom of speech does not always mean that some journalists have the hereditary power to use their profession to support a political candidate and attack others opponents. Baba Jamal and Kwasi Pratt Jr at Peace FM radio station have continually used the air waves to incite political intimidations, threat and harassment against the NPP delegates that if Alan Kyerematen wins the NPP National delegates election coming on December 22nd 2007, the NPP party will spilt. If their Akufo Addo wins there will be no split. This has become their day to day crusade on Peace FM in Accra .Otchere Darko too has being using the Joy FM radio station to preach the same massage, if his boss Akufo Addo who is a gangster in NPP party did not win the nomination there will be a political Split.

Ladies and Gentlemen, these aforementioned individuals are yellow journalists who are just making these idiotic statements in public that have no merits; their motive is to use this elementary political strategy to scare Alan Kyerematen who has the passion from the delegates to be elected. I don’t think these individuals have ever taken a political science 100 level course in their life; before they were able to use their feeble minds to propagate this political loguash to help their Akufo Addo to win this delegate election. The question is who cares if Akufo Addo who has destroyed Victor Owusu’s PFP chance in 1979 to win the national election leaves the NPP party? Anybody who is in his right mind will never follow this impudent politician, who can’t do a damned thing in his life except playing dirty politics against his political opponents. This Akufo Addo has already adopted this political risky business with some NPP political elites and the sitting president. It was Akufo Addo, Lord Commey, Yaw Osafo Maafo and Dan Kwaku Botwe who formed political gangsterism within the NPP party against John Agyekum Kufuor’s choice to become the NPP National Chairman’s election that was held at the University of Ghana Legon in 2005. They have their own personal animosity to mock Kufuor whether it is a tribal animosity or they trying to discredit Kufuor. I want the NPP delegates to realize for themselves if it is appropriate for them to elect any of these above mentioned individuals on their characters alone to lead their party for 2008 general elections. They are not patriotic to their party. Akufo Addo who was the ring leader does not have respect for his party members who always want things done in his way. These ignoramuces journalists should acknowledge that their negative language use against Alan Kyerematen will never elect their Akufo Addo .By God’s grace Alan Kyerematen already has the conventional wisdom to elevate his game and other candidates as well who have become victims in the hands of these “mushroom journalist”. As the Bible says in the book of Isaiah 55, vs. 3 and 4, “I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the People” .Only almighty God has the ultimate power to elect leaders, but not these psychopath journalists. The former Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Mr. Felix Akwasi Owusu Agyepong who came to the NPP presidential nomination conference in Houston, Texas came to my office with his New York campaign coordinator Nana Attah Mensah to explain himself that he will never throw his support to Akufo Addo or anyone. Why would he do such a suicide act? He is running for the presidency of Ghana. This propaganda is being made by Kwasi Pratt jr that he has now joined Akufo Addo.Mr Agyepong is a very civil, humble and intelligent man who knows what is best for his country and his party. Akwasi Pratt who has become the spokes person for Jerry John Rawlings is trying to create political division to help the NDC party to win the 2008 elections. So, all Ghanaians who cherish freedom and fairness should not allow themselves to be duped by these miscreants they should be constantly vigilant.
