Do Not Mock God Mr. Politician

Politicians in Ghana, have for years taken God the Almighty and the people of Ghana for granted. They swear, using the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran, to rule with integrity, do right to all manners of people and in all things choose the national interest first.

They however turn around to put their interest first, the results of which majority of the people continue to wallow in poverty, today.

These politicians shamelessly visit the churches and the mosques, to display how religious they are, only to turn around and betray the Supreme God. They continue to play the religious card, even when they have been exposed for their heinous crimes committed against the masses who entrusted the governance of this land into their care. This they do without shame. Today, The Informer therefore takes one of such politicians to the Cleaners, and warns those who think like him, to desist from using God’s name in vain.

After his first appearance in court to answer charges of a grand attempt to defraud the republic of Ghana, Mr. Asamoah Boateng, granted an audience to the press and said: “we need to have love for one another.”

Before the summary, he had referred to the Methodist Hymn and in the Fante language had recited “Spirit Divine Attend Our Prayers…”

Many were thrilled by that stage-craft performance of Asamoah Boateng, the man retired powerful man who demanded an apology from his victims, before obeying orders from the High Court.

The Informer, is however the least, impressed with that well rehearsed and smartly delivered artistic performance, knowing the mindset of this retired strong man.

We wonder if Mr. Boateng had love for one another when he told the country that until Mr. Hordary Okine, apologised to him (for no wrong doing) he Asabee was not going to cause his reinstatement, although a court of competent jurisdiction had ruled in support of Okine’s reinstatement. Was that love? Mr. Asamoah Boateng. What kind of love was that? The torture, ill treatment and pains that he made Mr. Okine to go through, does not reflect the love that the hymnal wrote about, so he should give us a break.

Again we ask, did the Holy Spirit tell Asamah Boateng to connive with the wife to defraud the state? We further demand answers, as to whether Jehovah ordered Asamoah Boateng and Zuleika to fake documents and the signatures of Frank Agyekum?

It is high time, these politicians leave God to attend to the needs of its beloved children, the poor Ghanaian who live in deprived areas, those in ramshackle structures, those on sick beds at hospitals that and need of proper healthcare.

The Holy Bible is warning such politicians: Thy Shall Not Mention The Name Of Thy God In Vain.
