Don’t raise blood pressure of patients with your utterances – Nurses advised

Nurses have been implored to be decorous in their enagagements with patients seeking medical care as per their noble profession they have chosen to serve humanity.

The Ashanti Regional Coordinator of National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) Mr. Martinson Osei has urged nursing trainees not to raise people’s blood pressure with their comments.

Speaking at the graduation of Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II Nursing Training College in Kumasi, he charged them to ensure that at all times their actions brings about healing to the sick.

“Do not go and add up to the group of health workers who raise people’s blood pressure with the words of their mouths. Remember the profession you have chosen is a calling from God” Mr Osei said.

He therefore appealed to nurses to shun the behaviour where they insults and shout on patients.

Meanwhile the Proprietor of Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II Nursing training College Samuel Owusu King congratulated all the grandaunts for their distinguished and outstanding performance and urged them to put in their best in everything, saying their reward is in Heaven.
