Of late, many black people have been coming out berating the bible. They claim it is just an effective weapon the whites have been wielding against the socio-politico-economic emancipation of the African or the black race in general. The bible to these proponents, is simply there to subjugate black people for them to perpetually remain in poverty and be the lapdogs of the whites.
I beg to differ. It is how the black people themselves misinterpret and understand the bible which is the problem. Their own black pastors, the so-called prophets but who are indeed damn criminals, do interpret the bible to suit their ego; to permit them to put fear into their congregation only to pave way for them to exploit their church members and audience to the hilt. They preach them to be submissive. They preach them to give part of their wealth away to the church which ends up enriching the pastors. Are we that stupid not to see that they are exploiting us to live the life of affluence at our expense?
Some church members are worshipping their pastors but not God. They think being too friendly with, and liked by, the pastor, will grant them the licence to proceed to heaven. Oh, how ignorant they are!
Let me use the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute to prove to many an ignorant person how truthful the bible is. In Matthew 12:25, it says, And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto him, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand”.
The Kumawu Ananangya royal family is divided against itself in their fight to wrestle their birth-right throne usurped by the Kumawu Ankaase “royal” family for only God knows how many years. Because of their division, where some of them have gone to side with Dr Yaw Sarfo, the alleged Kumawuhene Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua, from the Ankaase family, their genuine fight to take back their throne has become so herculean, if not failing.
In 1 Kings 3:18-28, there is a story about two harlots who were claiming ownership of a living baby when one had hers dead. Quoting from verse 23 to 27, it says, “23 Then the king said, “The one says, ‘This is my son who is living, and your son is the dead one’; and the other says, ‘No! For your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.’” 24 The king said, “Get me a sword.” So they brought a sword before the king. 25 The king said, “Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one and half to the other.” 26 Then the woman whose child was the living one spoke to the king, for she was deeply stirred over her son and said, “Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him.” But the other said, “He shall be neither mine nor yours; divide him!” 27 Then the king said, “Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him. She is his mother.”
How do we relate this story to the infighting going on within the Ananangya royal family with regards to the party throwing their allegiance to Dr Yaw Sarfo from the Ankaase family? They are Madam Berhene, Yaw Boamah, Osei Yaw et al. King Solomon’s judgment well answers their position. Therefore, the bible is true.
Do not many bible verses warn us against putting trust in human beings for they will disappoint you whereas God can never fail you when you put your trust in Him? "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Psalms 118:8. Some people in whom trust and confidence were put to help to establish, and to bring about delivery of justice to the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute have just evaporated into the thin air, abandoning any promises they gave. Do we blame them? No, for the bible has already warned against putting trust and confidence in human beings.
I can quote bible verses on end to prove how the bible is true and were we to understand it properly without yielding in to ignorance that paves way for us to be exploited by some crooks, black people will today not be stagnating in poverty and denigration.
I shall advise Kumawuhene Barima Tweneboa Kodua V to keep trusting in God and to take appropriate steps; praying and questioning God if indeed He is the one who has anointed him as the chief of Kumawu, then He should let his promise to him manifest for all eyes to see. He must also try to make contacts, conveying his concerns and plea to international bodies and governments if he sees the system in Ghana to be letting him down due to its corrupt nature.
Barima Tweneboa Kodua V should bear in mind the following two bible verses below:
Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?
Micah 7:5-7 - 5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom”.
To conclude, let the NPP government clearly understand that they can be now buddies with Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for the reason of having a short memory or otherwise, but they should not make attempts to slaughter Kumawuman on the alter to appease Asantehene, the “smartest” person, but indeed the worst criminal in Ghana. He claims to be bigger than any court in Ghana but he is like a morning dew that dissipates with the rising Sun before God.
I hear of some top NPP government members meddling in the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute in favour of Asantehene. I shall only advise them to desist from their machinations as the battle is the Lord’s, similarly as God was in control of their fight to wrestle power from NDC that brought them into power.
Was it not in the nick of time, when the NDC had set up all their election rigging machines with the Chair of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Charlotte Osei, being their accomplice, when God used certain ordinary persons to tip the balance in favour of NPP? While then President Mahama was whistling, doing his Usain Bolt, in the belief that he had won the elections already because of his trust and confidence in their already installed rigging machine, God had a different purpose.
From this little narration, I shall once more advise NPP right from the President downwards to be careful as the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute is a battle being waged by God Almighty Himself and they may be in for surprises should they dare underestimate the resolve of God.
Shall I use this opportunity to request whoever has the capability to organise GoFundMe or Crowdfunding to help the poverty-stricken genuine Ananangya royals to raise funds for their legal fees? God can make this happen. God always has a way to assist those that trust in Him in times of their difficulties.
