Egbert Faibille: Wither Thy Glory?

Wed, 25 Feb 2009 Source: ?

When comrade Kwesi Prat kept saying that the NPP will leave power; and lots of their acolytes, will have no glory to their names, I am sure people thought the man was joking.

I know that comrade Prat does not claim to be a spiritualist; all he was doing, was a critical analysis of goings-on in the country.

The NPP has been out of power for less than 2 months, and comrade Prat’s prophecy is coming true “waa waa waa”.

First it was the likes of Ace Ankomah, who poured rotten eggs on himself when he decided to defend the indefensible act of John Agyekum “50 Cents” Kufuor when the latter wanted to run away with that outrageous ESB.

For sometime now, I have not heard the voice of Ace Ankomah so I am sure some people have advised him to spend time getting a bath and getting the stench off himself.

Now it is the turn of people like Egbert Faibille, a key member of Kwaku Baako’s defunct coffee shop mafia, to jump into the circus act and turn himself into a clown.

Yes, Egbert Faibille, in his attempt to make senseless noises about the BNI detaining Daniel Gyimah, the NIB MD, has ended up turning himself into a clown.

Egbert, obviously responding to the dictates of his stomach, decided to look for nonexistent fame by leading a group of miscreants to form a Movement that sought the immediate release from BNI cells, the man who has willfully caused huge financial loss to the state via his dealings at NIB.

Egbert, thinking that he can draw attention to himself and become very relevant in the political equation, jumped all over the place like a brainless kangaroo making all kinds of noises about the detention of Daniel Gyimah.

According to Egbert and his gang of miscreants, Gyimah has done no wrong and so ought to be released with immediate effect.

Indeed, Egbert and his gang also demanded that the matter should not even go before the law courts because Gyimah has done no wrong.

Yes, that is the extent to which Egbert decided to make a clown of himself.

Only God knows the kind of noise that Egbert’s stomach made such that his brains had to respond to such a cry; turning Egbert into the clown of the moment.

Now that it is very clear that Gyimah was picked up for questioning as a result of Bank of Ghana’s investigations into activities of NIB, what tuneless song will Egbert sing?

Bank of Ghana started getting alarmed at the unbelievable amounts that NIB was borrowing on the interbank market on a daily basis hence the move to examine the books of the bank.

And it was in examining the books that it came to light that Gyimah had single handedly given out $60 million without following due process.

That is the case ooo that is the case; and Egbert will have the world believe that the NDC government is behind the work that the BNI is doing.

Egbert, in pursing the agenda of his stomach, tried to create the wrong impression that the NDC was behind the picking up of Daniel Gyimah.

The very strong aspect of Egbert’s clowning agenda, was when Nkrabea Effah Dartey, one of the lawyers for Daniel Gyimah, said on air that as far as he is concerned, the matter is purely a legal one and has nothing to do with politics.

That is the extent to which Effah Dartey went to distance the legal team from the clowning antics of Egbert and his gang.

Daniel Gyimah decides in his NPP mind to flout laid down procedure. And if the Bank of Ghana, the supervisory body, raises an alarm, what is the business of Egbert in making all kinds of senseless statements?

Because there was a Free Tsatsu Movement, Egbert thinks that his Free Gyimah Movement will get the same attention that the Tsatsu Movement go.

The Tsatsu Movement was formed after Tsatsu was thrown into jail by that ugly judge on the orders of the NPP government.

In the case of Gyimah, the case has not started yet Egbert says he should be freed. That is how dense this Egbert character is.

Somebody told me that Egbert must have gotten some support from Gyimah to start his Observer Newspaper.

Well, if it is true that Egbert got support from Gyimah, then it is not surprising that he will be turning himself into a clown in support of his benefactor.

Is it not a shame that a man, who wants to be of good standing in the eyes of right-thinking members of society, will allow himself to be turned into a clown?

How are the mighty fallen!!!

The NPP has gone down the drain and going with it, are the likes of Egbert Faibille, who have sold body, soul and spirit to the narcotics peddlers party.

Only God knows the extent to which Egbert and his likes will descend as regards their low-level clowning antics.

And these brain-dead kangaroos want to hold the nation to ransom? Apiiiitor!!!!

Thank God that these animals did not get the chance to continue to move Ghana forward in the wrong direction.
