Enough With the Personal Attacks On Nana Akufo Addo

Oh Kwame Katakyie!

“He who does not know, and knows not that he does not know, is a fool”, so goes a famous adage. Many a time have I sought to offer a parental admonition to Mr Katakyie Kwame Agyemang Opoku, to desist from his intransigent attacks on Nana Akufo Addo, but he wouldn’t listen. The more you advise him to the contrary, the stronger his vociferation to damage Nana Addo becomes.

Simply going on the offensive, needlessly attacking the physique and age of Nana Addo, will not garner Katakyie and his employers enough votes to win the NPP flagbearership that they are craving desperately. He had rather better market his candidate, his employer of course, by telling Ghanaians and the NPP delegates what he is capable of doing to alleviate their economic hardships, if he was voted for. Leaving that aside, but to constantly attack Nana Addo will not do Katakyie and his employer, Mr Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng, any good.

For all that the discerning Ghanaians know, and are happy about, are that Nana Addo is INCORRUPTIBLE. He is honest, sincere, dynamic and dedicated to whatever duty he is assigned. He has demonstrated, and continues to demonstrate, to be of selfless service to his country and people. Nana, like St. Thomas Aquinas before him, has vowed to be of service to his people.

It is not for his personal gains that he is resolutely determined to be the flagbearer of the NPP, to eventually become the President of Ghana. It is all for the sake of the suffering Ghanaian masses; the people that God wants him to redeem from their current “Black on Black” slavery under the John Dramani Mahama’s NDC regime.

Mind you, Nana Akufo Addo is the Lord’s anointed One to liberate Ghanaians from their current tormenting economic situation. “He who God has blessed, do not curse”, this is biblical. Why then are you, oh poor young man, Katakyie Kwame Agyemang Opoku, seeking to destroy him with the intention of attaining your selfish goal of having Alan Cash, your paymaster, elected?

Do you have to kill your trading neighbour to have your trade flourished? No! Why then are you seeking the downfall of Nana Addo, to elevate your candidate? Why cannot you do a fair and reasonable campaigning for your candidate, but have rather decided to single out Nana Addo to defame? You will get nowhere with your unreasonable attacks on the physique and age of the Chosen One of God. He is today’s David or Joseph of yesteryears’.

Being not corrupt, Nana Addo will ensure when he is elected the President of Ghana, he appoints genuine and similarly incorruptible persons as his Government Ministers. Any Minister or Deputy Minister who decides to involve him or herself in dubious acts and deals will be disciplined, for that I am much persuaded.

The fact that an incorruptible person has been elected the President is in itself more than enough a warning signal to people, especially, those in government, to behave themselves incorruptibly responsibly. This is the reason why all suffering Ghanaians are hoping Nana Akufo Addo becomes the President of Ghana.

Age is not an issue at all. It does not come in here. As God by the word of His mouth created the world and everything therein, as alleged by the bible, so shall the presence of Nana at the presidency and his already known disciplined character of incorruptibility instil fear in people to do the right things at all time.

Do Ghanaians need a weak, directionless, myopic and incompetent person to lead them? Do Ghanaians need young men and women who are thieves, as in the current President Mahama’s NDC government to lead them? Do Ghanaians prefer handsome, tall and legged persons to short, ugly, competent and incorruptible ones, to lead the nation? I will go for the latter, any day any time that my opinion is sought. But Nana Addo is not ugly as his adversaries will want us understand.

Mr Katakyie, you have lost the battle already. You lost it the very day you initiated your wanton destruction of Nana Akufo Addo, for reasons only known to you. You cannot persuade anyone to vote against him by your spuriously defamatory publications.

When I was growing up as a pupil many decades ago, we used to play about saying, “The word tatabuta is buta”. By that, we meant to say, “What God has written is written”. Can you change what God has written in His good books? You may try to, but you cannot.

Yes, Nana won the 2012 presidential elections but he was robbed of the favourable verdict. God allowed this to happen to prove a point to Ghanaians. Now, everybody has seen the dangers associated with trying to prove God a liar. No reasonable Ghanaian, except the thieves of course, can make the heads or tails of Mahama’s governance. Because he is riding a stolen Election 2012 horse, provided him by William Atuguba and his eight corruptible judges, look how Ghana has sunk economically. Be a credible judge yourself to tell the truth. This is what you get when you attempt to change God’s decisions and, or designations.

A word to the wise is sufficient. Nana’s supporters are not abusive. They only do not suffer fools kindly. Enough is enough with Katakyie Kwame Agyemang Opoku’s preposterous publications directed at wantonly destroying Nana Akufo Addo, my modern day similitude of biblical David or Joseph.
