– Ripe Within the Sons & Daughters of NPP
I am back into the political arena with vim and vigour. I had intentionally taken leave of political discourse to deal with other matters of equal importance. I feel the time is overdue for my come back.
?
I have come to express my supportive views as usual, for the one and only, credible God’s designated saviour in waiting for Ghana in her current tormenting period. He is the person of Nana Akufo Addo Dankwah, alias David. I hope all members of NPP will join me to welcome David back to Ghana from his six-month hibernation in the United Kingdom after suffering collusive bruising at the hands of the now disgraced Supreme Court judges that sat on Election 2012 petition filed by the NPP.
Nana, Akwaaba. You are the only discerning Ghanaians’ ray of hope to liberate the nation from the shackles of black-on-black slavery the current directionless and visionless NDC government has wrapped around the hands and legs of Ghanaians.
?
What can make friends today become bitterest enemies tomorrow? Is it enviousness of a friend’s success? Is it just the sheer willingness to pull a friend down for no apparent reason? Is it just the insane but devilish competition between friends? I want answers as I cannot get my head around this evil that is tormenting friendship.
?
As I write, there are instances of friends turning into enemies but not rivals, within my most adorable political party, the NPP. Were these very people not laughing with one another’s hand around the neck of the other a few months ago? Why then this sudden change of enmity between them?
?
Are they competing for a position of which the failure to grab it will culminate in someone’s demise? Are they competing to prove to Ghanaians who is the boss – "Oga?" Or, it is just simply being evil and malevolent? Why should you seek the downfall of someone who was not many months or weeks ago your buddy?
?
In division we fall but in unity, we stand to win. Please, don’t let us be that evil, becoming dogs that turn on each other to devour themselves. Why can’t we unite to fight for a common prosperous cause but rather putting asunder to what was once put together?
?
Friends must remain friends unto death. They must be able to iron out their problems or differences amicably. This is what I expect from every member of the NPP and the larger Ghanaian community. Being humans, there is bound to be differences between people but this should never lead to friends belonging in the same political family become enemies to wish malevolence upon one another.
?
I have spoken in parables so let discerning Ghanaians cogitate about it. Friends today can become enemies tomorrow but this should not be the portion for true friends pursuing the same goal for the collective interest of Ghanaians.
?
I am going it poco a poco accelerando.
