Africans around the globe today watch in awe, as China takes charge of Zambia, due to the latter’s default on a loan. President Kenneth Kaunda must be tossing and turning in his grave as we read the horrifying news of the Zambia National Broadcasting and their Energy Company all being own by the Chinese government and even their Zambian Police Force under the command of the Chinese Government.

Chinese modern day colonialism through loans, has many African scholars scrambling their heads on why the current crop of African leaders are so blind to the end game of this master chess move by the Chinese.

The Republic of Ghana is racing onto the same path that Zambia finds itself today , and the government under President Nana Akuffo Addo is so blind to all the tell take signs that are blurring out of Lusaka, simply because of a few dollars that has been promised them through shady deals and structures that is, StarTimes. Our country’s Communications Minister seems to have fed herself fat on the arrogance cake that her motherly instincts towards the children of Ghana is non-existent and least of her worries.

European leaders the flocked into Ghana in order to get some assurance from the Ghana Government that the Chinese won’t have an open cheque policy are all shocked at recent developments in Ghana, where the Government of Ghana seem to have borrowed 150 billion Dollars payable over a 120 yr period , meaning that every living Ghanaian today would be dead, and our children and their children’s children would be left in slavery to the Chinese masters of the loan scheme. The biggest opposition party in the country , the NDC , is surely not giving a strong argument to express the voice of the average Ghanaian, and this stance should change.

NDC and all the other political parties in the country should form a quorum to strengthen the voices of the masses against the blatant move to sell Ghana and its people to the Chinese. Our forefathers that sold us into Slavery created the mentality which today’s generation is fighting against and here we are 2018 we have a leadership that has no sense of obligation towards its people nor the generations hereafter. African leaders should all study what’s happening in Zambia today.

In closing it is fair to note that President Akuffo Addo’s Government is running parallel with the American presidency as one of the most unpopular governments in the history of the Republic of Ghana and Ghanaians are fed up with the uncaring posture that the president of Ghana takes in addressing the real concerns of the people of Ghana. Ghana deserves better than being drawn back into the Gold Coast era where forward thinkers were limited. We all know what Danquah and his cohorts tried doing to Kwame Nkrumah .

God save Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana
