Ghanaians value the peace within its boundaries and treasure that environment for its economic development.
We have come a long way with so many of us scattered across the globe. There are times when some of us have been tortured by certain countries yet we still smile and move on.
The declaration of a majority wins for NDC means a win for all Ghanaians wherever you may be.
Nevertheless, President elect Prof. Atta Mills is keeping his cool and calm.
Patience is a virtue indeed for the President elect to have waited for over 12 years to get to his final destined post is a real testimony indeed.
This is a new beginning for Ghana and certainly need a strategic planning is on the way on doubt.
This is like a merger with so many stakeholders.
However a careful human resource management would see that we have a full assessment of key people, and those that would be made redundant.
We need to give due respect to all those served in the various positions in the previous Government as this is all part of our maturity process.
Retention of those in the previous Government who are deem to be viable for the development of our country may need assessed and allowed on stay and be integrated into the new Government perhaps.
Communicating strategy development is another area that needs to address however our new Vice President is an expert.
There is no place like home and to be a Ghanaian is a pride. Ghanaians are aware other African countries use our identity to secure passports for foreign visa.
Ghana needs talents that would to foster a sustainable development right into 2033.
Ghanaians love peace and pleased that President. Prof. Atta Mills is aiming for inclusive form of Government.
Unity is strength and together we would stand behind our new President.
Our only plea is for our new President to listen more and talk less, engage in less foreign travels and rather use the, skills, knowledge and capabilities of all our Ambassadors globally to follow up certain issues of concern.
Thus freeing the President to deal with more domestic matters of great concerns. For example, re- vamp for new educational system and ICT with work experience for all 15 year olds, follow up on Busia sanitation programme and re- introduce sanitation inspectors in every town and city, integrated services for children and families.
We welcome NDC back in as our new Government however we are watching that history is not repeated in any form.
Ghana is now a matured astute country in all areas.
Never again would we have a Government who would come in and have its own way thus ignoring the struggles of its own people. Ghanaians are active stakeholders and must be consulted with any significant development whether at a local level or national one. Remember Prof. TAIN constituency was the deciding factor in your winning.
Thank you God for unifying Ghanaians 03/01/2009 with celebrations and jubilation. Amen.
