Ghanaian forward Michael Sarpong is close to joining Chinese side Chanchun Yatai FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
A fee of $150,000 has been agreed between Rwandan side Rayon Sports and the Chinese second-tier side.
Sarpong is expected in China on Friday or Saturday to complete the deal as he left Kigali on Thursday ahead of his switch.
The 23-year-old has been a hit in the Rwandan top division since he joined Rayon Sports in the 2018/2019 season from Dreams FC.
Sarpong's outstanding performances helped Rayon Sports to clinch the Rwanda Premier League title where he netted 16 goals to emerge the top scorer.
The former Liberty Professionals attacker also netted six times in the league cup for Rayon Sports.
