Herbert Mensah’s Circus & JJ’s Free-Loading

Mon, 12 Jul 2010 Source: Mensema, Akadu N.

*(Dedicated to all the poor, struggling Ghanaians, especially cocoa farmers, who

can’t pay their monthly rents in spite of the fact that, unlike JJ Rawlings,

they have worked hard all their lives.)

**By Akadu Ntiriwa Mensema, Ph. D.

“[Herbert Mensah], says he funded the renovation of the current residence of

Konadu Rawlings [who] moved into the edifice, belonging to her mother, after an

inferno gutted her Ridge residence…Herbert Mensah declined to state the exact

cost of the refurbishment but said a bill has been sent to government for

reimbursement. "The entire cost of [the renovation] of that house is footed by

myself and a couple of others” (Abridged from JoyFMOnline July 11, 2010).
