Hon. Kennedy Agyapong - a Victim of Selective Justice

Fri, 20 Apr 2012 Source: Adofo, Rockson

The hypocritical cowardice of most Ghanaians is unimaginable. To start with, it should be noted that the old wise people used to say, and do say, "Nothing ventured, nothing came"

Kennedy Agyapong is clearly a victim of selective justice. The irresponsible partisan security forces in the country, especially, the police and the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI), who are covertly working in tandem with the NDC, are selectively persecuting him. The "Big Brother" is watching how partially, partisan and very unprofessionally the motioned forces are conducting themselves under the most incompetent, corrupt and shortsighted government Ghana has ever had. These forces are knowingly or unknowingly assisting the most confused NDC administration presided over by lame duck President Mills to rig the upcoming December 7 elections.

Many people had/have reported about the abusively terroristic way Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye is pursuing to win the Odododiodoo Constituency on a silver platter. Some of these complainants bear physical bodily evidence of how they have become victims of the intellectually retarded and easily manipulated hired rouges or supporters of Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye and the NDC. Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye is mobbishly pursuing a tribal agenda to disenfranchise Ghanaians bearing names other than Ga from registering in Odododiodoo. He is the NDC parliamentary candidate for that Constituency. How do Ghanaians justify his actions of not allowing any non Ga-bearing name person to register in the Constituency even though the affected persons live or work there?

How do you expect me to suffer such idiots kindly with all their irresponsibleness unfolding by the day? There are times that we need people like Kennedy Agyapong and me to stand up for the abused poor masses in society. The police condoned and abetted the bloody hiding of the perceived NPP supporters and Ursula Owusu in Odododiodoo by simply standing idly watching while Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye and his gangsters demonstrated their bushman's machismo attitude.

Do we claim gentleness when we stupidly stand by while bullies and ignoramuses like Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye and his eyesore greedy bastards attack us? Is that what President Mills, the non police officer, expect of the citizens of Ghana who do not belong in NDC? If the police had acted professionally responsibly, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong would not have gone to the length to issue his defensive message to well-meaning Ghanaians. That divide and conquer nonsense policy in high gear perpetration by the NDC must stop.

I do not condone acts of violence let alone acts of ethnic cleansing irrespective of which person or quarters it originates. Until the security forces arrest Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye with his bunch of bullies that are mistreating and disenfranchising non Ga-name-bearing persons or Ghanaians, I am obliged to fling my weight in support of agitating for the release and non-interference with Hon. Kennedy Agyapong. I implore all reasonable people in Ghana who see the persistent and ongoing intimidations of innocent citizens by the NDC especially, Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye, as the cause of Hon Kennedy Agyapong's predicament to rally support for him.

Kennedy cannot be charged with treason. He has not in anyway committed any treasonable offence against Ghana nor any Ghanaian. The obsessively partisan police force and the BNI should get their acts right. I will suggest they go back to school to learn the rudimentary of law in relation to charges they can proffer against supposed culprits. I will help define treason, and it is up to them to relate it to Kennedy's actions to see if it does fit the erroneous charge they are bringing against him.

"TREASON means disloyalty or treachery to one's country or its government. Treason is any attempt to overthrow the government or impair the well-being of a state to which one owes allegiance; the crime of giving aid or comfort to the enemies of one's government. Sedition is any act, writing, speech, etc., directed unlawfully against state authority, the government, or constitution, or calculated to bring it into contempt or to incite others to hostility, ill will or disaffection; it does not amount to treason and therefore is not a capital offence" From the above definitions, the police or the Court can only charge Kennedy with sedition, that is, seditious behaviour or acts. Even here, I beg to defer. Kennedy Agyapong will always have my support as long as those NDC rouges with Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye roam freely in the streets of Ghana. That nonsense of selective justice in practice by the NDC with their unprofessionally biased police force must stop.

I suggest all the opposition parties unite with one voice to petition the International Court of Justice in Hague, Holland. They should let the court know about the selective justice the Mills' NDC are practising which is a recipe for political disaster in Ghana. The NDC's selective justice, perpetration of gargantuan corruption and absurdity of malevolent disenfranchising of Ghanaians are a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

I will come back to expatiate on my views as hereby expressed. I condemn all acts of incitation of violence, violence, and practicing violence. The NDC are violent and they need to stop their unethical jungle-like mindedness.

No matter what the NDC do, Alfred Agbesi Woyome will vomit the gargantuan GHC51 Million he has connived with the NDC to steal from Ghanaians.

The security forces are to release Hon. Kennedy Agyapong without further exposing their biases and cowardice for the whole world to see.
