Hurray! – Nana Akufo Addo has paid Woyome’s GHC51.2m for him according to…

Mr Osafo Buabeng, the lawyer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) self-styled financier, Mr Alfred Agbesi Woyome. He says in a publication on Ghanaweb under their General News of Thursday, 31 December 2015 titled, "Woyome GH¢51.2m judgement debt cash hangs" that Nana Akufo Addo has paid Woyome's debt of GHC51.2 million for him already hence Woyome no longer owes any money to Ghana.

He says and I quote, "You go and make your enquires, I said the man has paid for him. I mentioned Nana Akufo-Addo, I said he has paid for him."

It is stated on Ghanaweb as thus, "Curiously, when Osafo Buabeng was contacted yesterday for comments in respect of the case, he sarcastically and rudely claimed that Nana Akufo-Addo, the 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), had paid the money for Woyome".

The above statement was made when the Daily Guide contacted him about his client, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the notorious Ghanaian swindler of the century regarding the modality of refunding to the State the money he cunningly stole from her through a dubiously arranged "create, loot and share" judgment debt payment.

Yes, Nana Akufo Addo has indeed paid the money for Alfred Agbesi Woyome hence the government's obvious unwillingness to compel Woyome to vomit a second payment. Does it not amount to the abuse of Woyome's human rights to be asked to pay again for the debt he has already cleared? This is why the subsequent Ghana Attorney Generals are making no apparent genuine efforts to force Woyome to cough up the GHC51.2 million.

Let me explain how and when Nana Akufo indeed paid the money for Alfred Agbesi Woyome. Before telling you when and how the money was paid back as sarcastically claimed by Osafo Buabeng, bear in mind that Woyome collected the money for the NDC party with the connivance of Barton Odro, Alex Segbefia and especially, Betty Mould-Iddrisu. Can these members of the NDC government and party deny my assertion before the gods they belief in and do worship? No, they can't because they know the roles they played to facilitate Woyome's access to the money so dubiously taken to finance the NDC party.

In the eyes and understanding of the NDC party and government, Nana Akufo Addo paid the money for Woyome on the day that NDC and President Mahama were declared the winners of election 2012, either genuinely or otherwise by Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan, the then Chairman of the Ghana Electoral Commission. The payment of the money by Nana Akufo was confirmed by the Ghana Supreme Court when Justice Atuguba, the President of the 9-member panel of Supreme Court judges that sat, heard and ruled on Election 2012 petition, declared their most absurd verdict that clearly defied the principles of justice if it was not contrary to what the whole world observed as unfolded live on television during the court's sittings. Contrary to the expectation of the world public following the submitted facts and evidence by the plaintiffs (Nana Akufo Addo, Dr Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey), the court shamelessly unprofessionally if not corruptibly, declared verdict in favour of President Mahama of the NDC party.

Woyome was assisted by some accomplices in government as named above and others at the Ministry of Finance, but without the support of the then Finance Minister, Dr Kwabena Duffour, to rape Ghana in the open in a broad daylight.

The money he swindled was to help NDC win the election through all foul means possible to deny Nana Akufo his clear win over NDC. The money was used to construct NDC headquarters, bribe some people to become NDC radio phone-in serial callers to throw dust into people's eyes, to purchase the minds and votes of some Ghanaians and to induce Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan and others to pave the way for NDC to win the election.

As long as Nana Akufo Addo has become the victim in these circumstances that facilitated the attainment of the primary objective of NDC as stated above, then he has as said by Osafo Buabeng, already paid the money for Woyome.

What else does the government expect from Woyome in payment of the money after helping them win the election? Does this not explain the lackadaisical attitude by the government to collecting the money from Woyome? Has Woyome not threatened to spill the beans, mention the accomplices involved if the government dared him to refund the money?

I have to stop to attend to other important issues. Nevertheless, I have made it clearer to Ghanaians why Osafo Buabeng says that Nana Akufo Addo has already paid Woyome's debt to the State for him (Woyome).
