IMAGINE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT BLACKS; HOW WOULD THE U.S BE

The presence of blacks in the US has shaped the democracy, sports and entertainment industries of this nation admired by the rest of the world. Blacks have contributed greatly in the USA and in many different aspects.

Let us take a look at some aspects in the US African Americans dominated and which the US take credit for;

Sports had always been part of the US;

Sports like football, baseball, boxing, basketball, athletics, gymnastics to mention a few.

Since African Americans started representing the US, they have won gold medals more than any country in the world.

African Americans keep raising the American flag in high esteem. Secondly, let us look at Entertainment.

From hip-hop, soul, jazz, pop, trap to R&B and movies, African Americans paved the way.

Black folks invented interesting musical entertainment loved by all. More so, black entertainers have attracted billions of dollars into the US economy via their trade.

Legends like Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Steve Wonder, Sammy Davis Jr., Bert Williams, TuPac, Dr Dre, Beyonce, and Akon. Furthermore, Blacks contributed to the advancement of science and technology in the USA.

Clearly, They invented many things that profited the US and the world. Notable names include Garett Morgan, Madam C J Walker, Elijah McCoy, Granville Woods, Patricia Bath, and Sarah Boone.

Black inventors

Notable inventions are Potato chips, carbon filament light bulb, blood bank system, gas mask, traffic light system, to mention a few.

More so, the African human resource through the Trans Atlantic slave trade profited America economically.

For over 300 years, the US used slaves for free labor to grow cotton, tobacco, and sugarcane.

The USA used most of the profits from the hard work of slaves to start Banks that supported their economy till now.

Amidst the racist attacks on the Black population in the USA, whatever African blacks touch, turns into ‘Gold’.

Moreover, Blacks are succeeding in numerous fields and are doing this in the name of the USA.Certainly, Blacks are the heartbeat if not the soul of America.

You can’t talk of America without mentioning them. Say NO to racism!
