..to Cheat Her Subjects?

The avarice of the queen is on the ascendancy. The orchestrated parochial-mindedness deceptively reflecting machismo, but in reality the vanity of a selfish life, has once more come under my dissecting knife, scrutinizing every bit of her cunning ploys to deny the heir-apparent his regality; and Kumawuman, the needed development. Rumours from her own "Ankaase" royal home are rife that she once more plans to squeeze money out of some of the royal contestants before offering them the crown. This is from the neighing horses' own mouth.

I have no personal vendetta against her personality but an aversion for her greediness, discourteousness and evil intentions towards the development of Kumawuman. For all her seventeen years on the throne as the queen, the best and worst that one can remember of her are the mysterious disappearance of the antiquated war booty, "ABAMO", her unilateral sale of the farmlands belonging to the peace-abiding and humble inhabitants of Abotanso, Anyamesere, Abenaso etc. and her persistency in the belief that Kumawufo3 are fools to be taken for continuous rough ride.

She is in connivance with the sitting "Asantehene" to dupe Kumawu in what amounts to a daylight robbery. One may ask why this assertion? This once noble Asantehene, the envy of his peers and the purported present day "King Solomon", but now a partly fallen from grace to grass giant due to his greed human consumption for wealth, getting embroiled in cocaine allegation issues; womanising, pulling down the pants of almost all the female students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as well as obviously, our "saintly" squinted-eyed Lady-Tyson, had laid down unfavourably stringent rules for the selection of a new Paramount Chief for the Kumawu traditional area. Though I personally don't believe the entirety of the allegations being levelled against him as are on the lips of many, his cunning rules are meant to favour his girlfriend, to choose whoever she wishes in violation to the popular wish of the suffering Kumawuman masses. He had threatened to kick out any protesting person from his forecourt should they refuse to accept any candidate chosen by the queen if she does present one to him at his Manhyia palace. What an absurdity! Womanising has got nothing to do with the Kumawu chieftaincy affairs. And if they think that trick will work, then it will be over the dead bodies of the Kumawuman people.

The war drum is silently beating; gathering in crescendo, rallying the people to war and mark my words, Kumawuman will soon explode same as Anloga and Keta, engulfing parts of the Asanteman. Asantehene and the queen are playing with fire, and the very fire will soon burn them. This is a gospel revelation. They have to learn about the beginnings of popular civil revolutions. When people have been taken for fools for far too long and they start to assert their freedom, it has always been bloody.

Asantehene has decreed that the only reasonable and incriminating charges to prefer against any choice of candidate by the queen should be,

1) the person has/had slept with someone's wife,


2) the person is a murderer and


3) the person is a thief.

Apart from these enumerated charges, he is more than prepared to accept any selected candidate by the queen to be crowned as the successor chief to the late Barima Asumadu Sakyi II, regardless of the gravity of any other allegations or reasons to discredit the fellow. Who is the Asantehene trying to fool, himself or the people of Kumawuman? He must be kidding! Kumawuman, arise to resist the oppressors rule. What good is in this queen who is capable of stealing from the poor to appease her insatiable greed for wealth, libido, and crave to oppress her subjects? She is neither fit to continue to exercise her role as the queen nor fit to choose any candidate. Why, the curious minds may desire to know?

In her recent trip to Canada about a month ago, she said among other things as following: All Kumawu people are "nkruasefo3" (uncivilized), Kumawufo3 do not need any water because they have no water problem, Kumawufo3 are stupid to have engaged in never-ending litigation with the late chief over mere one and a half million Cedis . She asked her audience, all of whom are Kumawu citizens residing in Canada, "What is 1.5 million cedis? Don't you finish it when you proceed to Ghana and visit the pub with your girlfriends before you leave for home that night?" She is daft but not deft to have let forth such infantile view, from her mouth. Those who care let her know that in the Supreme Military Council's (SMC) era, that amount estimated in face value or material worth is over 1.3 million current Ghana New Cedis as one Cedi was equivalent to one American dollar. She shouldn't try to throw dust into your eyes. What annoys me most is having let her off the hook, after uttering all these complete nonsense, with impunity. Those around should have challenged her with known facts.

Spare the rod and you spoil the child. I have to be cruel to be kind. Can the queen tell us a little story about her forebear, SENU FONTOM, a humble lady of childlike innocence, magnificent and sparkling? The queen is the very opposite of this great ancestor of hers who made a painful journey to the then Apemso (Kumawu). Can one help me ask the queen the following few pertinent questions?

* What was she doing in Canada for about forty years before proceeding to Kumawu to be crowned the queen?
* What happened to her ex-husband, AHENKORA, in Vancouver, Canada, involving her before both escaped to reside in Ghana for sometime to avoid police arrest?
*Why did she order that her subjects stood up in obeisance to her whenever she was passing, a complete diversion from Kumawuman tradition? Subjects do so only to the chief but a taboo, when done to a queen. Is she not vicious and power drunk? Fortunately, the Divisional chiefs with the passage of time, resisted, got that untraditional demand of hers abolished.
*Why did she beat her late husband, Yaw Adomako, in one biting winter day in Toronto, Canada? Yaw ran out bare-footed, only to be found by the Police and taken home. When the police discovered how spiteful this lady was/is, they kicked her out of the family home and banned her from the area for sometime. But Yaw also left home to stay with their friend Nana Yaa. Why did this happen?
* The Ghana government's "Special Initiative Fund" meant for the Kumawuman people has been put to a private use meant only for the queen.
*Why is it that the former Domestic Science (DS) home which was converted and publicly funded in the hope of using it for a public library still stands a white elephant? How was the money used?

This queen only cares for, and about herself and her children. She craves for power without any sense of compassion. She is unfit not only to choose a candidate but also, to continue to exercise the duties of a queen. She has also avowed to do whatever to get her hands on some blocked funds meant for Kumawuman, a compensation for the use of Kumawuman lands for the Akosombo Hydro-electric project. This lady is devious and hates Kumawuman with passion despite being the queen of the area. Citizens of Kumawuman, you are old enough to take an appropriate decision of your own. Liberate yourselves from the shackles of slavery wrung around your necks by this tomboy. I will soon take the battle to the doorsteps of Asare, who lives here in the Americas with me, an informant condoning the disgusting actions of this freak. It does not take an intelligent mind to be a lawyer to know the law. I rest my case.
