Is Nana Akufo Addo A Magician?

Tue, 28 Aug 2012 Source: Koudjoe, Francis

Today, we can all see clearly that Nana Akufo Addo has turned or is turning himself into a magician, all because he wants to become the president at all cost, something I know for sure can never and will not happen in our dear motherland Ghana.

Nana Akufo Addo is not a visionary man as the NPP are portraying. His so called visionary policies he put before Ghanaians through IEA are all concoctions which he cannot achieve till thy kingdom come. Nana Akufo Addo's idea of free secondary education is absurd. According to Nana Akufo Addo, 78 billion old cedis will be needed for the first year for the free SHS education. This is magical, but completely false. Does Nana Akufo Addo know the number of government owned SHS in Ghana? Not even to talk about the private ones. Or is Nana Addo planning to fund only the government owned schools? Nana Akufo Addo started talking about this free SHS education over a year ago, by then the late president Mills was alive.

Dear reader, do you sincerely think that Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP are more concern about education than the late president Mills and the NDC? Certainly not. If it is really true that 78 billion old cedis could fund free SHS education yearly, the NDC would have implemented it long ago. They would not have even waited for Nana Addo to raise that issue. NDC are no fools.

But wait a minute; I don't know why this NPP and Nana Addo are throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians? Nana Addo, why this free SHS education now? Nana Addo served under former president Kuffour for two consecutive terms, eight years for that matter. Nana Addo was the flagbearer for the NPP in 2008. All this years, Nana Addo never thought of a free SHS education. All of a sudden, Nana Addo has brought up lies to fool Ghanaians. Nana Akufo Addo is well known to Ghanaians and what his capabilities are. As a former foreign minister, Nana Addo was best known for the promotion and pushing of drugs; and throwing out cases in relation with drugs as former minister of Justice. This is one pedigree Ghanaians have known Nana Addo to be possessing. How can a man with such a pedigree lead a whole nation like Ghana?

Nana Akufo Addo talked about developing the country through industrialization. Magical idea, isn’t it? But I am pretty sure that this will materialize through the proceeds from his drug trade. I still wonder why Nana Addo and the NPP are making noise by drumming off the beat tune into the ears of Ghanaians. Why didn't this development begin during his tenure as the Foriegn Affairs minister, since he had the diplomatic credentials to lure investors into the country. What he used that position for, was to revoke the diplomatic privileges of former president Rawlings and issued diplomatic passports to drug barons.

What the NPP are doing is polishing the same old shoe and repackaging it for sale. In other words, Nana Addo is being refurbished. But this refurbishment will not change anything for the NPP. The value is still the same since 2008. Nana Akufo Addo has no market value in the Ghanaian market because he is incompetent, his vision for Ghana is very poor and unrealistic, and above all he has attained the age of retirement.

Ghanaians should vote for an energetic and serious minded person like president John Mahama to continue with the Better Ghana Agenda in its newest form. The youth must take Abeiku Santana of Okay FM seriously and vote for president Mahama.

President John Mahama All The Way. Long Live The NDC.
