Justice Kpegah, a tribalist, moron, a demented old man or a legal enforcer? Kojo Tamakloe
As we await the “Thrilla in Manila II’ according to Justice Kpegah , who to some is an embodiment of tribalism, envy, jealousy being attributes of his tribal roots , aided by that equally “envious moron” , Dr Bokor , I sought to get clarification on certain things . My premise is simple , who is the man currently known as “ Nana Dankwa Akuffo Addo” , so I can make an appropriate reply to Justice Kpegah and Dr Bokor . This is what I got ; Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo Profile:
Name
Akuffo-Addo
Other Names
Nana Addo Dankwa
Date of Birth
1944-03-29
Place
Ghana
Detailed Biography
Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician, son of the late Edward Akuffo former chief justice and President of the republic of Ghana and a member of the famous Big Six.
He attended Achimota secondary school and later went to Lancing College, Sussex, England and the University of Ghana, Legon graduating in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Economics degree.
I find more confusion especially from advocates who defend him. On 06-22-2013 some one had written Akuffo should be spelled as Akufo . So which is which ?
So was he named Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo on his birth certificate or baptismal ticket or was he named differently?
Under what name did he register at Kinbu Boys school and which year?
It goes on to say he attended Achimota Secondary school . Can some one bring out the year he entered and the House he stayed in and under what name . When did he leave Achimota secondary school and go on to enter Lancing College? Again at lancing under what name did he operate? Finally , it is silent about his association with Oxford University . Nothing is said about the year he entered Middle Temple , only the year he was called to the bar.
I showed this to an American friend who I will call Anthoinette Palmer . She was a Warren by marriage but unfortunately lost the husband some time back. She kept the Warren name . As her story goes she was driving one day when the traffic officer pulled her up . Offence “ driving under suspended license” . She said she was confused as she could not think of any offence by her in the past 5 years . She went to the Motor driver Unit and was told the names were different and the license was withdrawn. Miss Anthoinette Palmer aka MRS Anthoinette Warren became Ms Anthoinette X, a non person . It took 3 months of going to the court and other processes to regain her “lega”l personal identity.
Why is this relevant and pertinent? Justice Kpegah asks about his certificate and some of us have asked for his transcripts . The reason is to try to ascertain who this “legal” person going by the name Nana Dankwa Akuffo Addo or is it Akufo-Addo is. If he was WAD Akuffo-Addo , when did he become Nana Dankwa Akuffo-Addo or Akufo-Addo? Under what name did he first travel on his passport to the UK , to attend Lancing College ? Under what name did he register and complete Lancing college and came to register at UG in Ghana? Under what name did he graduate?
I am sure answers to these will expose Justice Kpegah and his accomplice Dr Bokor for what they are and what their motives are. But above all , who is this legal entity who wants to be the CEO of Corporate Ghana? In fact it behooves even the SC to ascertain the identity of the person in front of them petitioning to become President of Ghana. Will he be WAD Akuffo-Addo or WAD Akufo-Addo or Nana Dankwa Akuffo-Addo or Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo ?
Is it a mere coincidence that this man has so many question marks not only about his identity , but also his journey of life? Did he attend Achimota secondary school or Government Boys school.Does UG offer BSC Econs or BA Econs. Is there a deliberate attempt to confuse or hide something? The ball lies in the court of “the man” , who wants to be President to put to rest all the questions. As the late musician fella Ransome Kuti will put it “ Who are you Re?”
