KASA 2024: The good, the bad, and the happiness

KASA 2024, held at the Grasscutters Arena on the night of May 5, brought together soccer stars, celebrities, and fans to celebrate the season's best players. Here's a breakdown of the event:

The Good:

- The Fifa-governed and Kalypo-sponsored awards ceremony was impeccably organized. Danny's decor added to the aesthetic appeal of the venue.

- The atmosphere was vibrant, with glowing lights, excellent sound, and delicious food.

- The event, a first of its kind, was a spectacle to behold.

- Performances by C Nortey, Derby Lyte, and Oh Joo captivated the audience, while Bernard the magician left everyone awestruck.

- The award plaques were beautifully crafted.

The Bad:

- Despite being dubbed the Kalypo All-Stars, many stars were absent from the event.

- Several soccer stars who did attend arrived late, extending the event's duration from the originally advertised 6 to 8 pm.

The Happiness:

- Despite the delayed start, patrons were delighted by the quality of food, performances, and awards.

- Danny was crowned the overall best player (Kalyp'dor), surpassing players like Akuffo Addo, who won multiple awards on the night.

- FIFA honored players who contributed significantly to the fraternity, including Ferdinand for originating the idea and Danny for his selflessness.

- Overall, the program was deemed a success.

Some players lost their awards due to their absence:

- Fidel lost the Fair Player award to the second most voted, Suarez.

- Alfred lost the Midfielder award to Danny.

- Elvis lost Outsider of the Year to Dr. Assan.

- Isaac, Fidel, and Edwin lost their respective awards due to cancellation.

- Isaac lost Best Winger to Akuffo Addo.

- Agudah lost Best Old Player to Akuffo Addo.

- Joseph lost his honorary award for being the organizer.

- Kalypo All Stars Awards was proudly sponsored by Superfam Network, with support from FIFA and Kalypo. Additionally, their play, "One Gallon," is set to premiere on May 25th.
