at the Summoned Crisis Meeting
Is this smart? When one is conning their fellow he/she thinks to be smarter. Kumawuhemaa is behaving like a con woman on her own family. Why can't she put her hands up, accept her mistakes and defeat and say, "I am sorry I have made a mistake", rather than to continue to conduct herself as an unrepentant obnoxious recalcitrant?
I am enthused to have been appointed the vessel of God to liaise between the feuding parties and the rest of Kumawuman citizens the world over. My duty is to disseminate the views of God on the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute as revealed, and also to inform the public on the currency of the situation. Not long ago when the Kumawuhemaa perceived that the tide was turning against her when all indications pointed to Wurukye losing the case, she abandoned Wurukye and absconded to Canada. It is said, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going" and also, "Quitters never win, and winners never quit". Kumawuhemaa being a hollow vessel making most baseless noise devoid of historical substance could not leave up to these two adages. She scuttled to Canada as though a frightened dog with her tail tucked in-between its legs. What a shame!
She returned from Canada on Monday, 26th April 2010 only to be greeted by the firm decision taken by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on the Kumawu Chieftaincy dispute pending before the Asanteman Council. She was shocked at the decision. She went twice pale, her blood all drained and her hair sticking out like spikes on her head with her squinted eyes blinking repeatedly as though she was losing her sight . Otumfuo Osei Tutu II had declared as following, ""If we are talking about the real matrilineal descendants of Barima Tweneboa Kodua, the true occupants of the Kumawu throne, they are none other than the Ananangyas. So the Ananangya royals should proceed to Kumawu, choose their candidate, allow him to swear to Kumawuman and then bring him to swear before me". Why was she in a state? It is all because she had hoped her intimate relationship with Otumfuo was in all likelihood going to tip the balance in her favour. Please note, "Man proposes but God disposes". God's mind is not that of a man.
Kumawuhemaa summoned courage and called her Ankaase family to a meeting on Thursday, 29th April 2010. What transpired at the meeting held at her residence in Kumawu, all inquisitive minds are eager to know? She bragged to them once more. She is never remorseful, this shameless greedy woman who is abhorred by all in Kumawuman except her selfish Ankaase royals. She announced to them, "Asantehene se Ananangyafo3 nso tumi di akondwa no bi. Asantehene ni tumi a 3de besi Kumawu akondwa, me ankasa me si ma kwondwa" (Asantehene has said the Ananangya people are also royals who can ascend the Kumawu paramount throne. Asantehene has no power to enthrone anyone as the chief of Kumawu or instruct Kumawuman about who becomes the chief. I will myself ensure who becomes the chief). This woman is once more as ignorant as her Ankaase royals who are naive to swallow her nonsense all the time. Excuse me to ask, is there no wise man or woman among the Ankaase royals able to stand up, shout at this squeaking and screeching ignoramus to shut her chirping beak up for once? Asantehene had ORDERED that the Ananangyas choose their own royal for chief as they are the rightful occupants of the Kumawu Kodua Stool. There are no ifs and buts about his pronounced decision.
Kumawuhemaa may be right but let me remind her of this one thing. If she knew Asantehene has no right to decide who occupies the Kumawu stool consequent upon the traditional status of Kumawuman within the Asante Kingdom, why was she counting on him to use their libidinal relationship to decide the case in her favour? Why was she joyfully laughing with her teeth bared when Asantehene on the death of Barima Asumadu Sakyi II and prior to his burial, erroneously attempted to coerce the Kumawu sub-chiefs into supporting her to enthrone the candidate of her choice within forty days? "Na nneama kadenkaden". What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. She had wanted to cheat Kumawuman but luckily, she has fallen on her own sword. She is now being force-fed the bitter concoction she had prepared and intended for the Anangyas/Odumases. Asantehene though has no right to appoint who becomes Kumawuhene, he has the ABSOLUTE right to tell who has the right to become a chief once a case brought before him has successfully being arbitrated. This is exactly what he has done. Bravo, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II ("a 3te K3k33so"), the occupier of the Golden Stool, for doing exactly as God expects of you.
Who in Kumawuman doesn't know that the Kumawu paramount throne belongs to the Ananangyas? The Ankaase royals are whom we call in Akan parlance as "betoomufo3". They just emerged from nowhere through the back door to become dubious royals. How can the descendants of "AYO", that beautiful slave girl purchased at Ejisu market become the true royals of Kumawuman? I am proud of Asantehene for acting exactly as promised and directed by God Almighty. God has all along been saying that He has appointed a person after His own heart from the Ananangya true royal home to be crowned the next paramount chief of Kumawuman. God is also on course to remove the Ankaase so-called royals from ever having anything to do with the Kumawu Kodua Stool. Anyone can take me to contest on this advance declaration and I shall emerge the winner. The Ankaase royals will soon be history consigned to the archives. Why should I withhold God's intentions about the future directions of the Kumawu chieftaincy from the public? I am not going to utter what people want to hear but what God wants me to say. If my disclosed gospel statements don't sit well with you, you can go and burn the sea – "ko na ko hye po".
Kumawuhemaa as always trying to be ahead of everyone by a step has once more cleverly conveyed to her Ankaase relatives that the throne is going to the Ananangyas. She did acknowledge that the Ananangyas are also part of the Kumawuman royals that are eligible to ascend the throne. She said, "Asantehene se Ananangyafo3 no nso tumi di akondwa no bi". In translation, "Asantehene says the Ananangyas are also royals eligible for ascending the Kumawu paramount throne" Anyway, that was not what the Asantehene said but just exactly as quoted in paragraph 2. I think that is the only means possible to persuade her family to accept the fact that the throne is going to the Ananangyas whether they like it or not. I thought the hilarious celebrations that shook Kumawuman at the announcement of the Asantehene's decision were enough indication to convince the Kumawuhemaa and her family to accept the reality but as usual, they are insolently unperturbed. Anyway, their fate is sealed. They will soon become as ordinary people as anyone walking the streets of Kumawuman. "Good one there".
If this Kumawuhemaa who is blinded by greediness knew what is falling from the skies to hit her, she would always be wearing a steel helmet whenever outside - "Se Kumawuhemaa nnim nea efiri soro reba a, 3nnam a nanka 3hye dade kye". She would not dare challenge God were she to know about the future.
Ankaase royals, thank you for causing Kumawuman a lot of harm and pain. You will always be remembered for your wickedness. This Kumawuhemaa will also be remembered for her insatiable greediness that cost the Ankaase royals their stolen royal identity. Keep on hardening your heart, oh unrepentant Kumawuhemaa.
Kumawuman will have their God's appointed royal installed as the Kumawuman paramount chief in a matter of weeks if not days. He will bear the stool name Barima Tweneboa Kodua IV. Hear what God says about him, "This is the chosen royal after my heart in whom I am well pleased, accept ye him". Make joyful noise unto the Lord, oh Kumawuman citizens. Get out of your closets your white cloths/clothes ready to wear in the minute that your adorable royal is crowned the chief of Kumawuman.
I have made an extensive research into the chieftaincy of Kumawu. All the research papers are ready for submission in testimony of who are the true royals of Kumawu should Kumawuhemaa dare counter-challenge the oath invoked on her about her illegitimacy as a royal. Ankaase royals should please do themselves a great favour by going to libraries, museums, and traditional/history archives to learn about themselves. It will be of great help to them. They will then cease to believing the falsehoods as documented by Nana Kwame Afram which do sorrowfully swell their heads as any genuine royal.
