Letter From The President: Dagbon, GIA & forced evictions

Fri, 14 Apr 2006 Source: J. A. Fukuor/Daily Dispatch

Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents, bootlickers and honest citizens, I am writing this letter from the land of the Bushman. It?s still very nice here. Everything is running so smoothly and these people seem to be in absolute control of their affairs. I wish I could be president of this country for just a few hours ? just the wish of a confused African president who has come to the Bushman?s land to beg for a few dollars from a fund specially set up for countries with ?challenge accounts?.

It?s really been a week of ups and down and so today, am not going to write just about one particular subject but on a number of issues. Forgive my departure from my normal style and commend me for even daring to do something new. If I have been creative with governance as I have been with my letters, Sikaman would have been a different place now, abi?
