Letter From The President: Suicide in the temple

Fri, 21 Apr 2006 Source: J. A. Fukuor/Daily Dispatch

Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents,I was on top of the world for a little while last week. This was after the Bushman had rather generously heaped a lot of unexpected praises on me describing me by all sorts of adjectives. I didn?t go to his country for him to praise me, though. I went there expecting to be given billions of dollars from his special fund for country?s whose accounts are challenged by the difficulties of the new millennium (or what he calls the Millennium Challenge Account).

It seems that his search for weapons of mass destruction has really depleted his accounts. This coupled with bad proposal writing by some nitwits in my administration gave the Bushman the cold feet and so he refused to give me the money I wanted. But as ingenious as he is, the Bushman decided to wash away my disappointment with a generous shower of praise-singing ? the sort I?ve not even heard him shower on his poodle-like pals such as T. Bliar.
