Letter From The President: The NPP Riches

Fri, 28 Jan 2005 Source: J. A. Fukuor/Daily Dispatch

Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents,

I am very bored this week. There is very little happening in our country these days and it?s driving me nuts. I am getting depressed because I feel there is nothing to write about. As I sit here bored, I couldn?t help but reminisce about my electoral success nearly a couple of months ago.
Forgive me, but thrashing Tata Mills and his band of NDC losers is the only thing that cheers me up these days. I wonder why there is so little for me to do around this time of the year. It?s very surprising because suddenly there are no KVIPs and road projects to be commissioned.
Suddenly, the chiefs have decided that there is no reason for them to organize durbars in my honour. Please I can?t bear this presidential boredom much longer. I am all settled in now and I need to be excited a little. Otherwise, I could suffer a nervous breakdown and you don?t want that to happen to the excellent one, do you?
