Letter From The President (XXV): Joefuse is confused

Fri, 7 Nov 2003 Source: Fukuor, J. A.

Countrymen and women, jealous opponents and praise-singing loyalists,

I’ve told you before that sometimes even excellent ones like me do make very dumb mistakes. The sad thing is that it is very difficult for excellent ones like me to recognize and acknowledge the dumb mistakes we make.

You remember Uncle Billy who was once the most powerful man on earth? A certain little girl accused him of inserting cigars in her aperture. When he was asked to confirm or deny the accusation he said, “I don’t know that woman”. I hope you know that just a few months after this denial, a certain blue dress was brought out of the closet with evidence to show that Uncle Billy had done more than inserting his cigar in the little girl’s aperture. If the blue dress had not resurfaced, Uncle Billy wouldn’t have acknowledged his immoral mistake.

You Ghanaians must thank your stars that I am an excellent one with a difference and that I recognize my follies.
