"If there is any principle of the Constitution that more imperatively calls for attachment than any other it is the principle of free thought, not free thought for those who agree with us but freedom for the thought that we hate.... Oliver Wendel Holmes Jr. Please listen to Comrade Tony Aidoo and amend the constitution.

Congratulations Mr. President-elect, John Dramani Mahama (JDM). This writer has defended you for more than six years. I am goaded by a quote from Voltaire, the most erudite French philosopher. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Mr. President Ghanaians have spoken, and we thank God. JDM, you are a historian but govern like a patriot, not a political party man. One of the smartest politicians I ever read is Tsar Catherine II of Russia.

Derided in her days and modern times as a hypocritical warmonger with an unnatural sexual appetite. Catherine the Great used to hover between hope and apprehension. Tsar Catherine's brazen exploits undermined the accomplishments that won her the Great Moniker. Catherin was a Russian Monarch who ruled from 1762 to 1796. Catherine championed the cause of enlightenment. She spearheaded judicial and administrative reforms. Catherine was not only beautiful but also leveraged the ideals of philosophers like Voltaire, J. J Rousseau, and Denis Diderot. Leave the Chief Justice, sack all politically exposed justices of the Supreme Court. Let people across the country apply based on merit. Keep Jean Mensah and sack all politically exposed people in the electoral commission. Appoint an experienced economist as the finance minister.

During the Spanish Succession , Louix XIV of France advised his grandson, Philip who became the King of Spain to “be good a good Spaniard, but remember you are born French." JDM, be good party man but remember you are born a Ghana. Appoint experienced people into the finance ministry to resuscitate the economy. Thank you Ghana, we will deliver. JDM please abolish the so-called blindfolded arrest of the citizens by BNI, very barbaric and sadistic.
