Your Excellency

IGNOR THE CALL MADE BY SOME NZEMA CHIEFS

It has become necessary for us to write you this letter as a result of recent press conferences by some self-seeking Chiefs and Youth of Nzemaland concerning the appointment of an Acting CEO of Ghana Gas Company.it is unfortunate for some chiefs to reduce themselves to so low that anybody could use them for their selfish interest.

To put the records straight, Ghana Gas is an important project in the country which every Ghanaian is proud of as it is significant not only for job creation, government revenue contribution and foreign currency earnings, but also as a flagship investment in the country which can encourage other international corporation to consider investing in Ghana. As a result, we will not sit down and fold our arms unconcerned.

You are precisely what our nation needed most at this point after a really rough eight years of administration.

There are million Ghanaians who deserved to be the CEO of Ghana Gas Company, but your choice of Dr. Ben Asante is precisely what the company need at this point and we, members of Atuabo, Anokyi and Asemnda-suazo, the project Highly Impacted Communities commend you for the competent appointment of Dr. Ben Asante as the Acting CEO of Ghana Gas Company taking into account his vast experience.

Dr. Asante has over 25years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He was the Technical Director of the Ghana first Gas Infrastructure project and also developed the gas infrastructure master plan for the country in 2008.He has also served as a consultant to the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and provided engineering services.

From the above noted it is clear to see that Dr. Ben Asante possess the experience needed to steer the affairs of Ghana gas Company to the next height. It is on this that the people of Atuabo, Anokyi and Asemnda-suazo would like to take this opportunity to commend you for such an excellent appointment. We have no difficulty whatsoever in supporting the appointment of Dr. Asante.it was a very easy matter for us, because he is a Ghanaian who had the spirit and competence for the job.

It is with a clean and sincere heart that we throw our support for him. Together, we will keep the Ghana dream alive.
