MARFO-NOMICS

At times it buffles me if Ghanaian authorities or people in responsible positions will ever take things seriously. It even hurts me more when people you trust and have confidence in display gross incompentence and irresponsibility. The negligence of some NDC ministers has landed Ghana in a mess and themselves in prisons and others restless nights.

Mr. Osafo Marfo is somebody I have grown to have trust in him that he will be able to help Ghana out of this mess we find ourselves in now. But to my surprise, some issues that have croped up which involves the finance minister make me have my doubt as to how far he can take this country.

Should I describe it as an act of arrogance, irresponsibilty, I don't caresm or lack of confidence in in oneself.

When the IFC LOAN issue came up, I thought they have done the necessary homework well before coming out on the loan issues. They did not care to ascertain the authenticity and the credibility of their so called partners.

Nana Akuffo Addo stood on a plateform in Jackson's park in Kumasi and declared that NDC did not know how to contract loan so they could not contract such a huge loan that is why they are making the noise about the loan.

ARROGANCE.

It took a news paper reporter who is not paid by the statement to dig in the activities of the IFC to find out that they want to dupe us and that loan was withrawn. I DON'T CARESM, IRRESPONSIBILITY AND CAUSING FINANCIAL LOSS TO THE STATE.

I read from the 24th edition of Palaver about an interview Osafo granted Joyfm and I nearly cried.

Mr Marfo signed a supposed document from the German government cancelling Ghana's debt, but I don't know if it is due to lack of confidence or inferority complex, our economics minister did not know the content of the document he was signing. MY GOD, ARE WE SAVE AS A NATION?

Mr Marfonomics declared public and I quote "I SENT GHANA TO HIPC AND I WILL BRING GHANA OUT OF HIPC" seems very bold. Isn't it? MY QUESTION IS MR MARFONOMICS ARE YOU GOING TO BRING GHANA OUT OF HIPC BY SIGNING DOCUMENTS WHICH YOU DON'T KNOW THE CONTENTS?

What of if you are being deceived by what they tell you. Please Mr Nomics don't sell Ghana without your knowledge. No matter how poor we are do not see the whites and panic, because they are not better than you neither do they know better than you do.

I hope Mr Marfo will learn from as well as all other people in responsible positions so that one day they will not sign papers which is selling Ghana but they will do so because they do not know the contents.

Let us all sit up take responsibility and care for the things under our care. I rest my case but I will be back.
