Mahama, Limann Reincarnation Ghana Cannot Afford.

President Mahama has been in charge of Ghana for a mere three weeks and has so far not shown that he is ready for the big leagues and as a matter of fact, his manners and decision making resemble that of a former President imposed on Ghana by CPP power brokers by name Hilla Limann whose rule until Mills became President was the worst in the history of Ghana. In Mahama, we have another Limann in the making.

Hilla Limann was the President of Ghana from September 1979 to December 31st 1981 who came to the Presidency when Imoru Egala was disqualified from running as the People National Party's (PNP) Presidential candidate by then the Supreme Military Council(SMC 11).The CPP power brokers, the offshoot of PNP at that time under the tutelage of Krobo Edusei imposed Hilla Limann on PNP not to upset the Northern caucus of the "EYE BE" supporters who insisted on a Northerner as its Presidential candidate which was not nomothetic but just to shore up Northernern support. In Limann, Krobo Edusei and his CPP honchos found somebody who they could control or will do their bidding and the synopsis of the Limann administration was that, he was a weak leader who could not do anything right and was overthrown by Rawlings on the eve of 1982.

Fast forward to 2012, President Mahama has been given the pole position by Asiedu Nketiah who has imposed Mahama as the NDC Presidential candidate on the Party without a hue and cry from the rest of the Party because in Mahama, the power brokers can see somebody they can dictate to.Mahama was President Mills Vice President the last three and half years and Ghana has been under phthisis and him becoming the President will not change the fortunes of the country.

As a country, we are at a stage where we cannot afford another four years of economic experiment that the Mills/Mahama administration subjected the country to. Our economy will be concertinaed if Mahama is voted into office as the President because he has so far shown that, he does not have what it takes to be the President of Ghana.As a nation, we should not be fooled by the simper on Mahama's face to lure us to vote for him. President Mills did not leave a lodestar for Mahma because he himself did not know what he was doing as a President and left us with a legacy of lies and insults. Such an abysmal record does not deserve a continuity by his acolyte, Mahama. Mahama at this time is a luxury Ghana cannot afford.

Ghana has been under an arrested development for the past three and half years and we cannot rely on Mahama's numerous velleities to adumbrate us to vote for him, that will be a big mistake because we cannot afford another Limann like administartion in 2013 as some of us witnessed in the early Eighties. I don't want to be hieratical but we are courting a doom if we vote Mahama into power. A Mahama/ Amissah Arthur rule defies or is an insult to our moral fiber as a society. Morality counts and in the two of them, I don't see what our children can learn from.

Mahama has had his hand in almost every contract that has been signed by this NDC administration with cloud hanging over them, the STX fiasco, the purchase of planes from Brazil and the cocoa smuggling scandal that the Arew Aremayew expose revealed which showed Mahama was an interested party who interceded on behalf of the smuggling company and virtually 'killed' the criminal case that should have been filed against some people. There are two causes of human fallibility-ignorance and ineptitude and we have seen those two characteristics in Mahama's three weeks administration that should be a warning to Ghanaians.

We are going to have hell in Ghana if we vote Mahama as the President of Ghana. This is a guy who ascribes to communist theories but lives like a Sheik through his father's oligarchy background and his own corrupt dealings. We cannot afford Mahama's communist ideas because "Communism works only in Heaven where it is not needed and in Hell where they already have it" Mahama is not the man to be entrusted with our country to.
